Just saw this movie and loved it. I honestly couldn't care less if it was Sly or Kyle Urban under the mask, I just want another movie already.

And how is there no figure from this movie? Horrible.

I'm really hoping VTS does a Dredd figure, they just released a Reaper figure of Karl Urban from Doom and it looks great.

Tho head is srsly undersized and looks nothing like him
Still I'm happy with this figure for dat price, proper sculpt is just a matter of time.

Deff would buy Dredd from VTS.

The heads not that bad. For $120 shipped compare it to Hot Toy's Coulson, whats he like like $190 for the most generic man in a suit ever?

loved the movie. saw it last nite on my friends 120" lcd 3D projector.
****ing amazing 3D and visuals.

wow ! the movie is extremely brutal. the gore is so visual. love it.
some of the best slow mo scenes I have seen in a long time.

Karl urban look so awsome as dredd.
oooh man when Lena Headey (MA MA) almost face planted on the ground from 3rd person view, I almost closed my eyes.

great movie.
is now part of my Blu ray 3D collection.
bring on Part 2.

Finally saw this and liked it.
They really need to find away to do a trilogy and add the dark judges.

However...

Why didn't Dredd pilfer the first dirty judges ammo?
He must've known he was low.
Why did he stand upright and stock still behind the wall as the last dirty judge honed in on him? seemed out of character.

Finally watched this. I thought it had some pretty good 3D moments and it was worth watching that way. Urban had a really good frown on his face most of the time.

What else was he going to do? He had no place to move.

Make a play for the last judges shotgun?
Stand sideways rather than flush against the wall then fake getting hit and draw him in?

Just seemed out of character for Dredd to passively get shot....
unless they edited out a scene where Anderson telepathically tells Dredd she's almost there. That would've made more sense when he says "Wait.."

We don't know if Dredd knew or not that Anderson was coming. He just wanted to buy some time. Pure dumb luck.

Dredd had no way out.

He knew he was out of ammo and had to draw Lex in. He saw where the bullet was going to hit and took it because hes £"$%ing hard as nails.

Saw this the other night. Without knowing anything about the comics or seeing the Stallone version, this movie was much better than I expected.

Should an attempt be made by an unauthorised person to use the Lawgiver, it will explode in that person's hand. Recognising that this generally practical safeguard can sometimes impede Judges in the execution of their duties, the Justice Department computers contain instructions on bypassing Lawgiver palm-recognition systems. These instructions can be accessed by senior Judges, but are generally employed only in severe emergencies. Judge Dredd demonstrates this process in the story "Goodnight Kiss" after his partner is killed by Jonni Kiss.
In the story "The Narcos Connection", criminal Nero Narcos sabotaged a new batch of upgraded lawgivers by programming them to self-destruct when used by their authorised users (once they received a radio signal, so the rogue command took effect in all weapons simultaneously). This resulted in large numbers of judges being crippled or killed at the precise moment they were attacked by Narcos's "Assassinator" robots at the beginning of the Second Robot War in 2121.

So there you go. Don't think Dredd is a senior Judge just yet.

I have a 80in, Plasma 3D with DTS 7.2 sound. Sometime this year, D-Box. If you have DTS 7.2 you can hear her face hit the ground. Same goes when they are shooting all the heavy rounds. You can hear the walls coming apart.
