I remember back than I thought JP3 is weak (today I like the movie and it is an oscar worthy material compared to the new ones. ). Now here comes the JW franchise. Man what a crapshow it is. Terrible just terrible. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Poor JP franchise never able to get its ESB or even its ROTJ (quality not narrative).

What would everyone consider their 2nd favorite movie in this franchise?

I’m guessing it’s toss up between JP3 and JW1, right?

Worse than Fallen Kingdom?

Hmmm... toss-up for me. I really wasn't a fan of that film's final act.

Oh my, I didn't even remember that.... I was paying more attention to the building which was an obvious reference to Apple's headquarters (the Biosyn CEO even looks like Tim Cook).

Other than Aliens, The Godfather and T2 (for some), does any series have an ESB ??
:horror
TLW is up there with JP for me.

I’m a big fan of TLW also. Like I said before, in some ways it’s better than the orginal

First off John Williams score for the 2nd film is one of his best IMO.

I love the Hunter character, Ian (of course) and the weapons / mechanics expert who turn out to be the bravest man in the entire series lol. Probably the only character in the whole series I feel bad for when he gets killed.

Not crazy about Vince Vaughn’s character. He is the real villain of the film since everyone who dies in that film can be attributed to him. I wouldn’t care if he was the villain but the script treats him as a hero.

The film is lacking a great scene like the T-Rex attack in the first film. The tagged on San Diego ending is a bit weak and feels like an after thought.

In what movie was the famous (and still best) T-Rex roar changed?

OK, just got back from seeing the film.

Overall, not as bad as I was expecting however I had severely lowered my expectations based on reading reviews and a few spoilers.

There's a few things to be enjoyed throughout however much like Jurassic World and Fallen Kingdom, this new trilogy is one big mess and full of wasted opportunities.

As good as the legacy trio were it's a shame that Alan and Ellie spend the whole film discussing locusts. :gah:

Why is JW considered a big mess?
