Re: Jurassic World

Why is that woman running around in an all white outfit? Muldoon would not approve.

Re: Jurassic World

You may be right.. I used photoshop to completely erase the contrast and also covered the eyes but it still looks fake as hell. (It's not that bad but it's no where near as good as the trike. It's a shame because it looks as though they were trying to replicate the exact same scene but made it worse)

PS. This picture is just a joke I only spent like 30 second on it. :lol

I disagree - I think the removal of the high contrast and bright blue eye vastly improves the look. I think we're assuming dinosaurs are all dusty, grimy beasts. Take our alligators. Even dry, they have a shiny appearance, similar to this Apatosaurus. An Apatosaurus doesn't hold it's head near the ground, and rather than laying in dirt like the Triceratops, it's laying in clean grass. So, I imagine it wouldn't be as dirty. Just something to think about.

Re: Jurassic World

Another problem I have with this movie is that these people all look like they are ready to have a photo shoot in a vogue magazine.

I know it's a trend to star beautiful people but I prefer the more natural look on the previous Jurassic Park movies.

I agree with your disagreement. It does look slightly better. Just not as good as the Triceratops

This is also very true... then again, this park is way fancier and super corporate. Much more futuristic than how we imagined a Jurassic Park would look in '93. When the s*** hits the fan, they should be worn-out enough. You have the original JP cast looking pristine when they first see the Brachiosauri.

They really should have included the original cast again in some way :lol. Even perhaps showing Dr. Malcolm or Dr. Grant in a congressional hearing, where they're lobbying against another park. It's strange that they're not in this movie. I'm sure those characters would have felt a moral obligation to prevent another disaster from happening again.

Re: Jurassic World

I wonder if they gave the original crew free tickets to Jurassic world as a sorry for all the **** they went through.

"Sorry about your PTSD that the park caused you in 1993 but to make you feel a bit better here are free tickets to our newest attraction Jurassic world. We promise the dinosaurs are all locked up and nothing bad will happen at all. Also you are guaranteed 40 percent off of anything you purchase at the park".

Re: Jurassic World

Goldblum after credits ftw.

I can picture it :lol.

*Camera zooms in with Dr. Malcolm as a guest on CBS's "The Talk"*

"As I wrote in my book - which, by the way, all of you lovely ladies are getting a free copy. [*cue applause and cheers*]. And... AND, ANNND a nifty shirt to support the victims for the Park - heh! [*the crowd goes wild]

Okay, but, here's the thing, scientists have been so preoccupied with whether or not they could, that they didn't stop to think if they should. Life has to find a way without man's incessant need to disrupt the natural order of chaos that was fine-tuned from nature itself."

True but they literally look like super models. Even the kids look like Leonardo Dicarprio when he was young. I'm not saying JP casts are ugly because they are not. But they just look like a person you might see in everyday life.

Re: Jurassic World

I think they try to make everything cool and contrasty way too much nowadays. Also something tells me that if the dinosaur is indeed practical effect they have somehow ended up adding CGI touch and basically ****ed it up. I tried to make image more realistic in Photoshop - masked the dino roughly and lowered contrast and saturation. See below:

Btw, interesting video about this subject:

Re: Jurassic World

First two are great posters... but the third just reminds me of the emotional trauma of that horrible film.

Dont worry I think Trex will be a hero in this movie. We know he's gonna be in this movie and its the first momma rex from movie one so perhaps she will be the hero of this movie. I mean let us hope and pray we dont see another trex death on screen. They wouldnt be so dumb as to **** up twice.

I sure hope so. I want T-Rex to bite through I-Rex's throat, and toss the head across the island. Cue John Williams music.

Re: Jurassic World

More over the top than cloning dinosaurs? ;)

Do these look domesticated to you?

They're not tamed. They're trained.

People train dangerous animals in real life. They're still dangerous to work with.

Meh, I can buy into it. You see those dudes who raise lions and polar bears from cubs like pets.

everyone always forgets that even Grant was able to escape the raptors with that bone thing he had..... It would be awesome if the new guy in this movie used that to get to make them know him better

Re: Jurassic World

if he did those sounds since the raptors were babies then they would think he was one of their own.

Hopefully. Having the I-Rex kill the original female would end this franchise for good, there would be no way back for it. I fully expect the T-Rex to kill the I-Rex and give us her famous roar as the last shot of a dinosaur in the film.
