Re: Jurassic World

Okay boyos and girlos wrap your mind around this.

RECENT FINDINGS ON HOW DINOSAUR GROWTH IN THE JURASSIC PARK FRANCHISE MAY BE ANOTHER MUTATION by Brandon Moore (Me)

Through extensive research on growth rate of a T-Rex (link below) something new came to light in a question no one has brought up before in the last 22 years of the Movie franchise and even the book doesn't even showcase this.

Tyrannosaur Rex Growth Rate - "King of the Dinosaurs"

The year in the movie Jurassic Park is parallel to being the now back then as 1993. From the opening of Hammonds dream Jurassic Park has been online for 4 years since 1989. Now here's the interesting part. The T-Rex was full grown in 4 years... Now when you look at the growth rate of a T-Rex a full grown T-Rex takes 18 years at 40ft long. Now that being said Dr. Henry Wu implemented Lysine dependency and genetically mutated the code with frog DNA. But what he didn't share was he secretly found a reverse fountain of youth... Accelerated Aging.

If a T-rex takes 20 years for full grown 40ft long animal, we are talking about the T-Rex in Jurassic Park growing at 6 years in 1. So now the Jurassic Park T-Rex has the same rule of a dog. However... the oldest T-Rex in fossil history is Sue is only 28 years old. So in essence of Jurassic World if the T-Rex in Jurassic World has Accelerated Aging the rex after 26 years... is figuratively speaking 104 years old in outside appearance and technically only 26 year wise. So it'll be interesting to see what y'all think of this.

Too much info....halfway through my brain malfunctioned :lol

Re: Jurassic World

The gyst is, the dinos in Jurassic Park have been matured at an accelerated pace. If that pace holds true the JP Rex would currently be 104 years old in 'Acellerated Dinosaur Growth years' but only been alive for 26yrs.

Re: Jurassic World

They aren't real dinosaurs. They're mutated at a genetic level by frog dna filling in missing info in their genes. They're able to switch sexes so aging differently or not having feathers is not a stretch.

"What John Hammond and InGen did at Jurassic Park is create genetically engineered theme park monsters."

Re: Jurassic World

Wait...that T Rex is over 100? That's unrealistic. This ruins the franchise for me.

Re: Jurassic World

At what point did the JP stuff change to repainted GI Joe vehicles? If Hasbro had only gone to that well again and created these characters with just a little retooling of the POC and 30th bodies, not to mention making GOOD looking dinosaurs, they could have had a big merchandise hit with kids and older...um, kids.

Me. :monkey3

Chriss Pratt and Steven Speilberg commentary with NBC presentation of Jurassic Park! Watch now! Exclusive clip from Jurassic World later.

Re: Jurassic World

I always regarded the dinos in JP as fictional movie monsters and nothing more. Raptors without feathers, and a T-REX that should be in a retirement home? Meh, don't care.

Have to say, though, I don't have high hopes for this movie at all.

Re: Jurassic World

Ago of Ultron has left me with little hope for upcoming blockbuster movies. I'm sure the disappointment will eventually wane though. :(

Re: Jurassic World

CG looks a lot better in these final trailers. Remember when everyone freaked out at the crappy gate in the first teaser?
Still think this will be great.

Re: Jurassic World

True about the gate stuff, but some of the shots of the dead dinos laying on the grassy hills still look shady.

But IR looks great in motion.

Raptors look great in some, then drop in quality in other shots, lets see.

The movie itself is what matters though, its a given that this movie will have better cgi than a syfy dinosaur movie because of the budget involved.

Hopefully the series finally gets a good sequel.

I don't think this one will be as bad, at least the original T-Rex will be in the movie that's a good reason to go watch it
