Because it is a good movie but it's definitely a "90's Spielberg movie." Moments of total brilliance but an equal amount of distractingly contrived or very forced and eye rolling sequences. Jaws, Raiders, Close Encounters it is not.

Jurassic World is right up there with the best sequels ever made. Not Godfather Part II obviously but I'd put it way ahead of T2.

It was also a time of weird, quirky, violent films that often and deliberately avoided traditional narrative structure.
