I hope someone with a brain realises the error of their plans and tells them why JW has been such a big hit.

Theme park. Dino's eating guests on rides. Yes!

V's

Robo terminator dino's in the trenches. Yawn.

Avengers held onto the 2nd weekend record by 1 million.

Meh. Avengers had no competition its second weekend and no one cares about that "record" anyway. At least JW is in the "100 million second weekend" club. The fact that JW *and* Inside Out both did so well in spite of the other is pretty bad ass.

After four movies I just hope that Part 5 doesn't give us YET ANOTHER "Oh my gosh they're *insert whatever action that dinosaurs aren't supposed to be smart enough to do*!"

Give us a 100% Sea World adventure. If you have to go with trained Raptors and Frankendinosaurs in the fourth instalment , I think all ideas have ran out on land.
Site C baby!!!! Site sea!!

They need to bring back Roland Tembo. He's the best character out of the 4 movies. Maybe he can finally get his T-Rex buck.

EDIT:

Never mind, I just remembered Pete Postlethwaite died.

A payoff in a Jurassic Park movie is usually dying for that type of character though. Just look at Muldoon. I'm glad he got away and was like, "**** this, I'm out". Everything was on his own terms.

This is the best line in all the films, I just wish it was shorter so it would be easier to quote like Malcolm's JP1 lines. :lol

I caught the beginning of The Lost World on AMC a week ago and noticed a strange edit at the beginning of the movie. In the theater I remember that when the mother is about to scream on the island when she sees her daughter being attacked by campys they immediately cut to Ian Malcolm with this big goofy smile and the sound of a screeching subway. It was a totally bizarre transition that almost suggested that the movie was going to be a wacky comedy or something.

But on AMC when the mother screams they instead cut to a guy yawning in a boardroom. Was that changed a long time ago or was it just some new edit for time on broadcast TV?

It cuts to Malcolm yawning in the subway station in all the ones I've seen. There's a tropical island ad behind him that almost fools the audience into thinking he's on the island, until it pans and we see that it's really an urban setting.

I don't think Malcolm ever smiles in that movie, the events of Jurassic Park seemed to destroy his "rockstar" personality that he had in the beginning of the film before the T-Rex attacked.

True, movie is kicking serious ass.

I want to see Force Awakens, Batman v Superman and Captain America: Civil War bomb superlatively. Like, they tank so hard that it's awe inspiring.

You laugh but you know it will happen. And soon. We just got to half a billion this year. Another 3-4 years. The Last Star Wars...? Infinity Wars...?

If it opens on enough screens. The drop-off will be killer though. :lol
