She didn't give a **** about her family. She went to go spend eternity on the boat. Probably hoped that the diamond would find its way back down there so she could do more nude drawings with a guy she knew for a couple of days.

:lol Yeah that always struck me. It worked dramatically for the film but WHAT ABOUT YOUR ACTUAL HUSBAND WITH WHOM YOU HAD KIDS??!!

Why JW deserve?

Took my 6 year old to see the 3D version this weekend, her mouth was open so wide through the second half, I could have thrown popcorn in it to pass the time. She could not stop talking about it afterwards either. For me, I still think the best "Jurassic" scene was the original T Rex encounter, but I enjoyed "World" more on whole.

Because of reasons like that.

:lol Throwing away that diamond. On the one had symbolic of her whole story and yet on the other...you could have provided for your family with that. Imagine if they found out.

:lol Titanic is basically a story about a terrible old lady rambling for 3 hours just to answer a simple question, "Do you know where the diamond necklace is?"In the end she had it all along, and she lies about it to get a free trip on a ship. Then we get this symbolic scene of Jack and Rose reuniting in the "afterlife" or something after old Rose kicks the bucket , but what about her dead husband? You know, the guy she married, and used as a marital and sexual surrogate for the majority of his life, but we never see pictures of them together? That poor bastard gets to spend the rest of eternity watching his wife dancing with some 19-year-old guy that he's never even seen before :lol

The Avengers was about spectacle, funny banter, and seeing all those heroes together for the first time.

Well...the spectacle has been trumped many times over, several times in the MCU alone (TWS, GOTG, and AoU,) the heroes together is old hat and is more fun in AoU especially with newbies like the Twins, and the banter? I'll give it that. Galaga never gets old.

It's hard to imagine another dino movie topping the thrills that are almost uninterrupted from Zara's death to the end of the movie. We'll see.

They can always create new dinos. I'm surprised that the Indominus Rex was basically a T Rex with longer arms. You would think that Universal be a bit more creative, considering their history of universal monsters. Maybe in the sequel they can do something crazy like a spider raptor.

Lots of movies try to "create new" monsters. Even hybrids. Newborn Alien, Predalien, etc. JW nailed it. It doesn't mean that lightning will strike again.

I think I-Rex looks more like this one

I think fans of JW would be accepting of another hybrid/monster in a JW sequel aslong as real dinosaurs are still at the heart of the movie. What's a JP movie without seeing any T-Rex, raptors etc...

Which will be more watchable over time I wonder?

I lost count how many times I've watched Avengers. :lol

Avengers has historical significance equivalent to JP1 in 1993.

JW, while a good fun and exciting movie, is not a first of anything other than box office magic.

Avengers wins hands down.

Well "first of anything" does not trump an all around better movie. :lecture Otherwise we'd have to say that The Avengers is pretty much better than every sequel ever made, including ESB, TWS, Godfather II, and so on. Heck AOTC ushered in the era of digital filmmaking and DMR conversion for simultaneous IMAX release which was actually a much bigger cinematic game changer than putting a bunch of guys in tights together in one movie. :)

But that's the thing, Avengers just happens to be a better movie, fo me.

Overall Avengers has more to offer for me than Zara's death and T-Rex rescue.

Avengers coming together on screen for the 1st time after the MCU build up > seeing T-Rex again
