Make this happen! :lecture :D

I finally saw this today, and it was an incredibly enjoyable film. I was almost laughing during that final battle between Indominus, the T-Rex, and Blue (was that blue? They all look the same), out of sheer joy. I think Trevorrow managed to almost perfectly emulate the balance that made the original so damn great. The thrills and excitement, the terror, at times, and the sheer wonder of it all.

It wasn't perfect, but it was probably one of the most entertaining films I've seen this summer, and it was damn good. It's kind of amazing how, one second, those raptors were ****ing eating everyone, and the next, you're like "awwwww, he got blown up, damn, Indominus ate him, and so on and so forth." It seems like Trevorrow took J.J.'s concept with the Super 8 Monster and actually managed to make it work.:lol

Also, I must say, Pratt needs to be Nathan Drake, and/or Indy. I didn't know about him as Indy, at first, as I thought he might be a bit too comedic, but I was actually surprised to find that his character was much more stoic than the trailers made him out to be, and I think that really works for Indy. He's not a comedian, but he knows the exact moment to crack wise and cut through all the tension. I think he'd be an equally great Drake, because, let's face it, the Henley, the wisecracking? This might as well have been a screen test with Dinosaurs.

I thought Delta, Charlie, and Echo all looked very similar but Blue defiantly stood out because of, well, her Blue coloring. I only remember that Charlie was the one that gone blown up because of his cam going down on the screen afterwards. No idea which ones got BBQ or eaten :lol

I really am curious to see what the sequel will bring. There doesn't seem to be a logical "Lost World' second island they could go to. Obviously Wu's deal/story will be the driving force, but as of right now, I don't see how it would really involve an excuse to bring back all the dinos/parks/islands. I'm guessing they must have had something in mind base on how Wu left the film, so I'm not too worried yet. I am curious if they'll bring back any of the original characters now. Being off-island would make their appearances less shoe horned, and even quite possible or likely. Even just seeing Grant or Malcom on a TV saying "I told you so...again!" would work. Again, any possible involvement beyond something like that would depend on the story.
