I agree, we finally get to see the park open and all we see is a strip of Main Street and a wide shot from the air. It made the finale feel a little too "back lot" to me.

I would have been okay seeing people bored at the park. We only get Bryce telling the Verizon guys that people are bored by dinosaurs but they're walking through a crowd of preeeetty happy looking people, wth?
I was bummed when Lowery shuts down everything in the control room at the end, feels like we won't get to see more of the park.

For me, I'm very aware of the flaws, and they're pretty numerous, but I still enjoy it, and not because it's "fun" but because I like some of the beats, and it inspires my personal imagination to expand on these somewhat undefined characters and plot points.

I don't think it should be an example of an ideal film, but I'd like to think the success gives it a shot to be more substantive next time around.

May 18 - Lego Movie sequel
May 25 - Han Solo Anthology film
Jun 8 - Godzilla 2
Jun 15 - untitled Pixar film
Jun 22 - Jurassic World sequel
Jun 29 - HTTYD 3
Jul 6 - Black Panther
Jul 27 - Aquaman

Plopping JW2 right between Godzilla and HTTYD is gonna be interesting, that's alotta reptile in a 4-week span!

Something tells me that they'll take a G98' ending with a Indominous-Rex baby hatched or some ****. Idk Wu making off the island with his insane bs seems like the franchise can go from pure wonderment to horror movie. Heck Jurassic World imo was the first of the series to captivate a blood splatter.
