If WB had any sense, they'd postpone filming JL until after they see the 2nd and 3rd weekend drops for BvS. If the numbers look bad, at least they can fire Snyder, postpone JL, and go back to the pre-production drawing board.

WB have any sense Snyder will be gone.....BvS was an average cbm with good potential. It feel apart big time trying to incorporate multiple stories lines. JL is going to be that X 10 and for my money Snyder couldn't handle 2.5 stories lines well let alone an entire team.

Snyder ain't going anywhere. Specially with the movie set to hit $175 million this weekend and principal photography just two weeks away.

I like Snyder but wouldn't cry if he stepped down after JLA1.

I can say with absolute certainty that the critics reviews are sadly influencing alot of fan opinions. There's something about contemporary film watchers, specially millennials, they just feel uneasy about genuinely enjoying something that is critically panned.

If BvS sat at 80% on RT nobody would be campaigning for Snyder to get the boot.

This is all a repeat of what happened three years ago with MOS.

I read JL will be Batman going on a 7 samurai type deal...

DO WANT! After seeing BvS I can't wait to see more of the Snyderverse.

This is true, I was pretty bummed out when reviews started to come out, ready to turn on Snyder, and walked out of the 1st screening very confused, trying to convince myself that it was a terrible movie like the critics had said, but how come I enjoyed it so much? It was till the 2nd and 3rd screening that I realized it was a good movie actually.

^ I'm pretty sure the villain is Darkseid. I imagine there will be more to keep the team busy though.

So who is excited for this film after BvS?

It looks like Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman won't be directly related to this film and it will take place after BvS.

How long do you think it will take for Superman to show up? Maybe at the end of the first film... like "hey, I'm still alive"[emoji38]

I am to sure it will be Darkseid right away having seen what they did here by combining 2 comic book story archs I belive they will do the same for justice League part 1 some variation of the 4 superman in superman returns and braniac all in the service of Darkseid.

If adapted properly they could make it really a mystery action movie were we have to try and guess which is they real superman and it ends up being braniac instead they harbinger of doom before the coming of Darkseid.

So... is Snyder confirmed as director of Justice League? After thinking about it, I want him to still have a role in the film, just not as the lead guy.

Either way, I am very excited for Justice League. Especially since it is only a year in a half away. When compared to IW, not a long wait at all

he's the director- the film starts shooting in a couple weeks- all there in London prepping....

I think that is what it will be indeed , people are stating that they should have had waited and devoted doomsday to a movie all to himself similar to the animation that story line was done very well , but I belive they will incorporate the return of superman and braniac in to one story.

As much as the death of superman man was a great moment for the character as a story plot point it's the return that had the bluck of the story. Trying to figure out which superman was real and the evil cyborg superman it was done very well.

Plus his death scene would not have an impact had he returned 30 min later. This leaves us with such a cliff hanger how will he come back.

He has been campaigning for that role for years it seems. I don't think it would be a good fit. Hopefully it goes to someone else.
