Re: Justice League-Parts 1 & 2 (2017 and 2019)

  • LL tells Sen. Finch the angels vs demons painting should be upside down because "We know better now, don't we? Demons don't come from hell, beneath us... They come from the sky".
  • LL is telling Batman that the bell has been rung, and he heard it... He is coming, and he's hungry... Then the camera pans through Luthor's office showing the painting now upside down, with the demons coming from above.
I just don't like how...

... it's kinda implied that LL didn't know about Darkseid during the painting scene yet knew about the Mother Box.
Would make much more sense if he knew this stuff from Waller, who actually is...

latest

Seriously, a post credit scene like this would make me rate BvS at 100/10. :monkey2

Well it makes sense, because in the scene with the senator, his remark about the painting was directed at Superman, and at the end, it's about the parademons/Darseid.

Waller being Granny? Is that a thing?

Please God, please no. You've got Viola Davis as The Wall, why convult it further? I say they get Betty White for Granny Goodness.

Yeah I don't think it's gonna happen, too wacky, Letoker = Todd is probable though.

Yeah, I can see that one. Toddoker plus J(Lutho)r... Eh, at least it'll be different, right?... Maybe we'll see the Sr. Versions later down the line? Maybe that's why Batman hasn't killed Joker yet, because he can't bring himself to kill Jason.

Exactly, that's what some of us are thinking.

But I'm pretty sure it's been implied Luthor Jr killed his father.

Jr. killing his father doesn't come close to the brilliance of Sr. killing his parents to cash-in on the insurance money. The bratty son killing his dad has been done to death. I'd much rather they're working together and have something to do with the New Gods.

Re: Justice League-Parts 1 & 2 (2017 and 2019)

It was one of my favorite parts and I don't get tired of recapitulating it.

  • LL tells Sen. Finch the angels vs demons painting should be upside down because "We know better now, don't we? Demons don't come from hell, beneath us... They come from the sky".

Poetry.

It's not a spoiler, but I've said it before too many times :lol

Yea but that is it? Demons from above? That doesn't say much about Darkseid or anything but that Lex is crazy. Maybe they could extends the film a few more minutes to explain but audience can't handle it. Batman's dream are more juicer.

Darkseid and his Parademons reside in Apokolips.
Parademons look like... well, demons.
Apokolips is in space, thus "above".

It'll fly over (heh) the GAs heads, but for us fans it's pretty straightforward when coupled with his speech at the end.

Pretty much.

If you say "he" is coming and show a picture of (para)demons coming from the sky.

That's Darkseid.

Re: Justice League-Parts 1 & 2 (2017 and 2019)

This will be one hell of a movie I think they will combine two story archs the return of superman, and the imposter supes which I think will be braniac, and the lead in to the Darkseid invasion.

I think we are basically looking at the combination of the superman , braniac, and justice League war animation story lines

Re: Justice League-Parts 1 & 2 (2017 and 2019)

Please replace Snyder
That's the best case scenario, but I can't imagine it happening at this point. Film is due to start rolling in a few weeks, and even though there's a logical fallacy in attributing this film's success to him, he did make the film that made buckets of cash, and will likely continue to do so. Critics ran this one over the coals, but audiences liked it just fine on balance, and even the geek vote is split down the middle.

Oh, well. At least the other comic movies out there, by and large, are coherent, enjoyable experiences.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they tried to include Lobo in this movie as their version of Deadpool--a crass, loudmouth funnyman who enjoys killing and can't be easily killed.

Bay is still directing Transformers so why not leave Snyder onboard. :lol
