No lantern or corps sucks......outside of Bats, Hal is my favorite DC character. Reynolds movie wasn't that bad that the character doesn't deserve a second chance...

Hal is a HUGE part of the Big 7. Not having him in JL is a major mistake IMO. I'd rather they just went with 6 characters and had a cameo with Hal and then had Hal play a bigger part in JL 2. They can officially introduce him as the 7th member then.

Mistake from my perspective but I'm not involved in the film. hopefully he gets an appearance sooner rather then later.

Hopefully. Leto's Joker though...I thought they might go in a diiferent direction with a new villain.

I think joker was a must after they gave us a foreshadowing of Robins fate in BVS, it's almost a must that the death in the family and red hood story line would be adapted maybe they can introduce the court of owls as an explanation to who revived him. This story lime could be a better version of CW were the actual villian is deep and not a mute brainwashed villian.

I would like to see more of a commitment of from then on sequels and other characters like this rumor in the previous post on a possible cyborg movie based on fans take to him JL. That's a must you have to tap in to these lesser known characters at one point or another.

Not a fan of this at all. Bad enough that Cyborg is replacing MM, now they have BC replacing Hal too? I hope this isn't true.

I would not put any stock in that rumor I don't think they are planing on introducing any new heroes in this movie beyond what was already shown in BVS, I was hoping they would go with Gl as well but after reading the comments made by Charles Roven the producer about GL is a revered property and deserves to be treated in the same manner as superman and Batman I felt they were doing the smart thing they plan on making that character have his own movie and possible franchise so they can't treat him like marvel does will Hawkeye or Blackwidow and just being part of the supporting cast.

Yeah as we have seen the backlash they BVS has endured for putting in to much since the shutter to think what would happen if they were to introduce a 4 back story to the current 3 new members. I am not sure how they will incorporate the back story of each of the 3 new characters ,but it will be probably be a quick flashback to some event in thermo lives when they first got their powers and we can build upon it in their own movies. I expect GL to make an appearance in JL2 similar to what marvel marvel is doing with black Panther and from there move him in to their own movie.

We have seen how a poor adaptation of a character can lead to bad results Deadpool in origins and Deadpool on his own movie so each charter needs to be given its own due to get the maximum out of them.

GL verses the yellow lantern and the ack story of sinestro a fallen green lantern against the reluctant hero in Hal Jordan would make makes great dynamic similar to how they are pitted against one another in Geoff John GL comic.

It's hard to believe that starting tomorrow, a Justice League movie and a Star Wars movie with Luke Skywalker in it will be filming at the same time for a few weeks just 20 minutes or so away from each other.

If you'd told me this just 3-4 years ago I'd have asked you what drugs you're on. Amazing.

Put all of your debates and thoughts on current movies out of your mind for a moment and just think about this. How can we not be excited about these times??

Unfortunately old Luke, Batman and the Flash are the only excitin' parts of these events for me.

Show me new Barry Allen in full costume and I'll invent time machine just to buy IMAX tickets!

Indeed. A new Ridley Scott ALIEN movie will be coming out the same year as JL and Episode 8 as well. I wonder which will have the better script? JL or ALIEN Covenant?
