WB already killed and resurrected their most important character as a last minute moment of only the second film in their entire connected universe. How do they expect anyone to get emotional about doing that to anyone else for the forseeable future?

This is true. Any big name deaths in the dceu was wasted on the freaking grand daddy of all superhero deaths. What a lazy move in there part.
