Even though i've only been given clearance to watch the trailer I also think the movie got a whole lot better as well.

Whedon>Snyder as a director. Snyder is great at making comic book panels come alive, his visuals are amazing but he isn't a good story teller, editor or director of actors. While i dont hate his superhero movies (MoS, Watchman, BvS), many people do and i understand why. His movies dont flow well, Dawn of the dead remake is the only movie he made that was well done, had a good flow too it. I personally also think MoS was very good, had decent flow just not as good as DoD. These movies didnt feel disjointed, like a bunch of music videos strung together. I will say he is better then whedon at making comic book panels come to life but a bunch of comic book panels randomly thrown together does not make a good movie

That is exactly how i feel. In short. I hope JL gives us the best of joss and the best of zack. Should be amazing

I thought the new trailer looked fun. The contrast between Joss & Zack's shots is like night and day though, which worries me that it'll feel really disjointed.

Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to this and will be there to see it day one.

I enjoyed man of Steel and although I do like BvS I am not obvious to its flaws and other movies seem to suffer from the same issues but they have just been magnified when it comes to BvS. They made some questionable character decisions which the fans and general public did not take to and building on that they tried to create a conflict between the two hero's built on weak motives. But after reading the rumors of the supposed reshoots I am glad that its not what most of us were expecting to be added , just jokes and humor to make it light heart , but a change in actual story plots to improve the over all story.

I dont think the director alone could make or break and movie rather is a collections of minds and efforts that come together to bring the story to life. Avengers was great and well likes and reviewed movie he tired to recreate that success in Avengers age of Ultron it did not take so well. Some may have been his decisions and some might have been a result of studio interference . In any event its an opportunity to learn from after all these reshoots are supposed to improve the movie
