IMO Gal isn't a bad actress. She's not a great actress but she is good one. It's all subjective anyway.

Comic Steve could never go toe to toe with Ultron and Spidey, especially without his shield. Comic Steve also wasn't strong enough to just casually kick a pickup truck into a bad guy or stop a helicopter with a single bicep curl. That's basically Spider-Man strength and Steve was always supposed to have peak human strength, not superhuman. The movies have really run with the "super" soldier idea though as a lifelong Cap fan I must say I'm totally fine with it. It makes the character more fun and I like seeing him go toe to toe with everyone else's favorites. :)

Agreed. I'm okay with how the MCU has handled Cap. :D

It's not tho. At all.

I adore Bruce Campbell but he's a ****ing terrible actor! :D
Yet he never stepped out of his boundaries so nobody can complain about his acting.

Gadot is cute, a bit sexy, but an awful actress.
People think she was good in WW but that's only because of the script.
Her character was a womanchild which means that even a child could play the role.

Oh I'm not saying Gadot isn't cuter or that I don't like her, she's top cute-fu for sure, I was the first and only one who promoted her jewfu potential early on and you shun me in favor of Allison Brie, whom btw her latest fappening pics reveal she's barely average.

And Jlaw is insufferable, that's the first thing I said.

I'm saying Gadot can't act and Jlaw is a better at that.

No to both.

Yeah I guess you're right Gadot isn't a better actress than JL but JL is absolutely sexier than 12" ruler Gadot.

At least JL has T&A to offer.

Abandoned 'Justice League' Movie to Have Featured Brutal Wonder Woman/Superman Fight

6:37 PM PDT 8/30/2017 by Aaron Couch

After being brainwashed, Diana and Clark fight, and it doesn't turn out well, with the Amazon warrior's wrists getting broken.

Director George Miller's Justice League Mortal is one of the great lost films of our times, and it would included a brutal fight between two of DC's greatest heroes (no, not Batman and Superman), according to one of its stars.

Jay Baruchel was set to play the villain Maxwell Lord in the film, and he shared new details about the project in an episode of the Happy Sad Confused podcast, hosted by MTV's Josh Horowitz.

"They had all the costume design. They had all of the pre-vis. They had all of the sort of production design figured out, and so they would take us and walk us through this command center where they had everything," the actor said of checking things out down in Australia. "The aesthetic choices that they were making and the story and character choices they were making are so ballsy, and we won't ever see it."

Justice League Mortal had a cast in place and was deep into preproduction, with stars including Armie Hammer (as Batman), DJ Cotrona (as Superman), Megan Gale (as Wonder Woman) and Adam Brody (as The Flash). Warner Bros. had announced the movie in 2007 for a 2009 release date, but the project was pulled due to a number of factors, including the 2007-08 writers' strike.

Asked to describe what it would have felt like, Baruchel offered this: "Imagine Miller doing [Zack] Snyder ... it was very tableau ... they were paintings. And what the characters were doing had such teeth to it."

As an example, he described in detail a scene in which his character Maxwell Lord brainwashed Clark Kent.

"All of a sudden this guy's got Superman as a weapon," said the actor.

In the script, Lord would get a nosebleed whenever he took over someone's mind, but Baruchel pitched to Miller that taking over Superman's powerful Kryptonian brain would cause Lord to bleed out of every orifice in his head.

"I turn him into full red eye Superman, and then there's this big ass fight between him and Wonder Woman, where he breaks her ****ing wrists and ****," he continued. "The first time you see Wonder Woman, the opening scene on Themyscira, it was just her. It's her on top of a steed ... and she stood about half a kilometer away from a Minotaur. The Minotaur has a battle-ax in his hand and she just rushes him. All the Amazons are there cheering her on, and she just beheads him. Gets off her steed ... holds up the Minotaur thing and doesn't say a goddamned thing. It's like, 'That's the Wonder Woman I want to see!' It would have been special."

In 2014, stuntman Greg Van Borssum posted a photo with Miller and most of the cast together in 2007:

Cancelling this movie might be the dumbest decision Warner Bros has ever made, in hindsight. Solid cast, George Miller at the helm, would have beaten Marvel to the punch in establishing a cinematic universe. The film world would be very different today if this had happened.

I agree. It would have at least spared me from being subjected to BvS and SS. :lol

Cause WB is stupid and didn't have faith in there characters. They thought Wonder Woman the most iconic female hero of all time couldn't carry a movie.

But the guy makes it sound like Miller's version was going to be even darker than Snyder's!

How would WW recover from a broken wrist was she going to wear a cast in the movie lol

The only character WB has faith in is Batman. I'm surprised they didn't include him in MOS--though I suppose they did so retroactively in BvS.

WW is WB golden child now. The JL movie is getting more interesting each day. I can't wait to see how this plays out in November.

The storyline for the film was based on a huge crossover that was happening in comics at the time. Maxwell Lord was the "big bad" of the event who gained mind control powers. He hated the super heroes and believed they were a danger to humanity. He used his power on Superman and sent him on a rampage by making him believe he was actually fighting villains like Brainiac while he was actually fighting other heroes--all to show the world that he was right. There were bits and pieces in the overall story that were brutal, including Wonder Woman decapitating Medusa (which is probably where they got the idea for her decapitating the Minotaur), Superman beating the **** out of Batman, and Lord killing Blue Beetle. Snyder would have loved it because the conflict was resolved with a snapped neck. :lol
