Sadly, I feel it will, this will suck, Star Wars will suck, Thor maybe won't suck just because everybody's expectations of it are so low.

Haha I think you got it backwards; you don’t even have to watch Thor ragnorak the trailers have shown all the major plot points of the movie much like the bvs trailers did; We already know most everything thats going happen anything we haven’t seen yet is just going to be filler. Marvel made a big mistake showing so much in the trailers; justice league and Star Wars have only given us small morsals to chew on, sure they could still be garbage but at least we don’t know how the garbage is going to unfold

SW has a few potential twists that may or may not work, so it could be entertaining.
If Rey actually goes bad, and it's not just a **** teaser, I may come around.

It's literally the first thing I said after I saw TFA; "If only Rey went bad".

TLJ...? Well, its somewhere in the middle. It has a lot riding on it if you cared about the first one. Personally, I'm not invested in the new Star Wars so far. Hoping this one hooks me.
IKR? I feel no attachment to it, but I'll see it out of curiosity.

I'm sorry but I'm like 95% sure of how JL is going to play out, plot was leaked early on, so were the rumored Whedon changes, which is the source of my wariness.

Very early BvS leaks were pretty spot on, so I doubt this one's any different.

I don't know how SW is going to play out because I haven't cared enough to dive in, except for the most well known theories, but I'm sure folks have it figured out too.

Mind you, that's our fault, I have a friend who refuses who watch trailers, I wish I had that kind of will power.

I was specifically talking about the trailers s if you go out of your way to research plot leaks that’s a different story but when Trailers show all the plot points in linear fashion its not a good sign

Oh I was talking about everything surrounding the movies, not just the trailers.

Even without researching there's plenty of stuff to worry about JL, from the obvious knee jerk reaction change of tone and mood, to the Whedon inclusion, to the following *very* obvious Whedon influence.

Ragnarok hasn't shown anything major that JL hasn't too, the biggest giveaways come from the TLJ trailer and it's still pretty veiled, if you go by trailers alone that is, JL has given away more information by trailers alone than Thor, they've both given everything away but their possible "twists".

Thor is advancing the release of reviews so that's confidence on their part, on their paid reviews but confidence nonetheless.

Thor ragnorak

Starts with
Thor goes to visit Doctor Strange for help in finding his father Odin. Strange warns him that danger is coming (probably relating to Hela's return/escape from some mystical prison – a scene we don't seem to have seen yet)

Thor runs into the death goddess Hela (Cate Blanchett) on a New York City street. He throws his hammer Mjolnir at her, but she catches it and destroys it. She beats up Thor and uses her powers to dump him on the planet Sakaar
Thor is then captured by fellow Asgardian Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), who hands him over to her employer, the gladiatorial game-loving Grandmaster (Jeff Golblum). Thor gets a makeover, including a haircut and new outfit.
Meanwhile, Hela invades Asgard with the help of Skurge, completely devastating the useless troops even though they're all supposed to be gods. The signs that the Norse apocalypse Ragnarok is on its way come with her, like the wolf Fenris. She gets the final infinity stone from Odins eye socket; it’s been hiding under his eye patch the whole time it’s also how Odin knows everything that’s going to happen before it does and why he has to sleep to recharge his energy instead of feeding souls to the stone he has been draining his own life force
Heimdall goes on the run, battling Hela's minions in the forest outside of Asgard; he also loses his power of sight after Hela steals the stone since Odin know longer can bestow the power on him

When Hela has the stone Loki realizes he can't win, so goes looking for Thor. The Grandmaster invites him to watch his new 'acquisition' fight in the arena.

That acquisition is Thor, who is surprised to find that Hulk is his opponent. Thor tries to use the battle to escape, only for his captor to demonstrate how much power he has over him. Grandmaster also double-crosses Loki and chains him up.

Valkyrie decides to help Thor escape after realising that Hela is on the rampage. Cue flashback, where she explains that the she was the one who imprisoned Hela before, but at the cost of her sister valkyries' lives

Thor, Valkyrie and Hulk free Loki and they escape to Asgard in a spaceship. They fight the Fenris, and Hulk takes on the fire giant Surtur when he emerges. Loki fights for the citizens of Asgard, finally redeeming himself.

Thor meets Hela for a final showdown. She taunts him, and he shows that he doesn't need his hammer to call on his lightning. Badassery ensues.

All this shown in trailer in pretty much linear order accept the part about the stone being in odins possession but it’s the only reason Hela goes to asgard

Thor ends up lost in space, awaiting discovery by the Guardians of the Galaxy in Avengers: Infinity War. The end

MOOOOOOOOOOOODS :gah:

That's good, but Loki won't redeem himself. He'll betray Thor again. Hulk will probably go back to the grandmaster planet because he's happy and beloved there, unlike earth, where he has to hide his true self.

The only thing I can't figure out is when does Hulk fight Surtur? Is it a flashback? Is it at the end?

Valkyrie's flashback imprisoning of Hela is in the trailer?

I think it's this scene.

Looks like it could be a flashback.

You cheated though, no gem is ever mentioned, name of the planet is never mentioned, fate of Odin is never mentioned, and the ending is literally part of the leaked IW trailer, very specific detail about the Odin stuff tho, etc etc that's never mentioned or even hinted at anywhere, bunch of stuff there out of context that unless you read the leaks, the comics or did research, you wouldn't reach a conclusion, that's virtually a copy pasta of the leaked stuff.

It's the exact same case with JL, except we know Supes is coming back.

Definitely a flashback, but if you go by trailer alone, you'll notice they imply the Valkyries are losing to Hela.

What stuff is leaked about Odin; it’s pretty obvious that Hela is in Asgard to get the final stone. Why else would she go there? The stuff about Odin is just my theory based on watching the other Thor movies and reading about the stone itself from the comics. The rest is trailer but whatever I am not going to argue about **** I saw with my own eyes lol my point was that Thor trailers showed too much of the plot but you disagreed so I recapped the trailers for u.
