Throwing him under the bus and washing their hands, classy move, sure took them long enough.

Especially given the circumstances behind the supposed reasoning of his departure. Not so classy.

And then when the movie still sucks, you can bet everyone still blames Snyder for it and Whedon gets a pass.

Well now you get to watch the people who bashed Snyder/BvS change their tune. Though I agree that it's pretty shockingly poor taste for them to basically say "our movies will be better now that Snyder had to leave because of his daughter's suicide." :slap

I didn't read anything of the sort int hat article, it just says they let the director pursue his vision despite their differences...

And this made me puke a bit in my mouth...

Director Matthew Vaughn recently revealed that he’s had talks with Warner Bros. about Superman, and that his take would be more like the old Christopher Reeves movies. It’ll be interesting to see what kind of a Superman we get in Man of Steel 2.

:yuck

I don't think that last bit is anything to puke for, it's just weird they decided to continue to do stuff atop the carcass of the Snyderverse.

Just ****ing reboot already.

I'd rather see them do a direct sequel to Man of Steel and just see how the character evolves naturally instead of doing a full reboot just to make a Superman thats more Reeve like. Besides they tried going the Reeve route again, it was called Superman Returns and everyone complained about how boring it was.

They wrote a boring, action-light film but that doesn't mean the Reeve route was itself the problem.

I really wish they'd given it another shot, this time with a super-villain....and with a decent-sized S on the suit.

Sorry UB but I agree with a-dev.

a-dev do you really have a hurricane heading towards your beautiful country!

Apparently. Not a peep yet though. The calm before the storm?

I remember MOS not having JW music was one of your main gripes with it.

How do you feel that JL will now have the JW score for
his resurrection scene

lol@D

Wait, wuuuttt? Is that true or is that a Jyeism? I've been skipping tons of pages in these threads lately, they're moving too fast.

But yeah back when MOS came out I felt that making a kind of Superman movie where JW's theme doesn't suit was just a mistake - to me it was like saying 'OK we're not making a Superman movie'. The MOS theme is very good though. It could never hope to dethrone JW's theme but dammit it came much closer than I thought anything could.

WTF does Sarah Connor have to do with this a-dev? It's always Terminator with you.

I was just posting a picture of Gaspar, he loves storms and happenings. Sheesh

Funny how both of them literally betrayed their wives and prayed on young women from a position of power.....

They are almost the same guy....
Yet somehow only Weinstein got in trouble but no woman ever complained about whedon.....ha... HA!... hahaha

Whedon is a TUE alpha and a smooth player.
If it wasnt for the wife herself, whedon wouldnt have a problem...
Whedon, the most smooth of them all
Weinstein is truly a beta pleb.. didnt understand no means no...
