Reviewers need to get over their dislike of CGI villains it is a comic book movie the villains are not human.

The problem is dislike of UNNECESSARY cgi Villains,
The problem is using cgi where make up and prostethics were not only good enough but would actually loom better than.the cgi.

There is nothing more annoying than unnecessary cgi that looks like crap. Specially when their face would have looked better with prosthetics.

No one can say what was CG and what wasn't.

That is correct. I love Ferrigno Hulk, but no way would a man painted green look right at all in Avengers.

Sure the CGI can look better, but it really takes time to make it to look realistic.

What was shown of Steppenwolf in that clip looked like a really stupid design.

It's not even that, it's not the CGI, its BAD CGI, people complain about.

Steppenwolf is not even up to modern standards, you can't defend this.

And the icing on the cake is that they did a hand animated face, WTF happened to mocap?

Ragnarok's CGI and visuals were butt ugly all around, JL is much better looking, but Ragnarok didn't have an uglyness peak like Steppenwolf is, which is what makes it ultra jarring.

Also, Uncanney Valley works for everything humanOID, it doesn't have to be strictly human.

I would LOVE if it happened.

If leaks are to be believed, they cut evil Superman, since they changed the tone of the DCEU, but it was supposed to be a large part of the third act, and now he will only wake up and be disoriented for a bit before coming to.

I’m sure eventually they’ll have to go there.
