My reasons for loving CW:

BW fights
Bucky/Cap apartment battle
Panther introduction to the MCU
Buck/Cap/Panther chase
Spiderman introduction to the MCU
Airport battle
Reveal of Bucky killing Stark’s parents.

Nothing tedious at all about that glorious movie.

BvS is the one held back by a tedious bullet investigation with the Hercule Lois Poirot fruit investigation.

BvS was sorely in need of more action to help fans forgive the investigation angle.

Really?

Your parents were viciously murdered.
You just watched a video of the events happening.
The man who did it is standing next you.
And you are Iron Man.

Bucky was clearly brainwashed. Tony Stark is a little ***** that has daddy issues.

I was so disappointed when the shield didn't decapitate him at the end. The bright side is, Cap definitely made him defecate in his Iron Man suit.

Modern....

Blade 2
Spiderman 2
TDK
TWS
Homecoming

As much as I love Blade 1-2 and Spiderman 2 not good enough for my elite list lol

Huh? What? Oh sorry... nodded off there for a moment. What were you saying?

Porgmomma

My new line:

”Why don’t you go Weinstein yourself!”

Isn't Spider-Man's introduction the same thing as the airport battle?

It was foreplay.

What would Papa Emeritus do?

Go back to larping as Dr. Doom, he's better.

DOOM came to me in my sleep and told me to stop LARPing as him, or else... True Story!

LARPing as Doom is fun, but dunno, I figured it was time for a change. You think DOOMPosting is better?

Tony Stark is a little ****** bro.

Post-MCU? Yeah, I agree. But 60s-early 2000s Tony was a really good character, with great development. It's just that writers figured it was easier to copy RDJ rather than come up with new stories.

---------------

One thing I find interesting however, is that depending on your POV, Doom can be interpreted as a hero, and Stark as a villain.

And let's be honest with ourselves here, once you've seen these superhero movies for the first or second (or third and fourth) time and absorbed all the trivia about it and collected all the toys, there's not much more you can do with these things than keep the blu ray on your shelf where it will continue to collect dust.

It's not just modern stuff either, this applies to the older comic book movies as well. Don't get me wrong, I love the Burton Batman and Donner Superman stuff. Hell, I'm probably known as the weird "1989 Batman fanboy", but outside nostalgia, there's only so much I can rediscover with those flicks as time goes on. I've seen just everything this cape **** genre has to offer.

The honeymoon is over. I want something new brehs.

I don't understand why people like Civil War. I found it tedious. Also didn't like being cheated out of a fight with 5 killer Captain Americas.

I liked because it did parts of The Dark Knight Returns storyline better than BVS :lol

Civil War was the Batman vs Superman movie I didn't know I wanted, and it got it right. It reversed the roles, by having Stark (Batman) be the one working for the government and going after the best on screen Superman since Reeve, Steve Rogers. The final fight and conflict between them was earned, unlike BVS.

DOOM came to me in my sleep and told me to stop LARPing as him, or else... True Story!

LARPing as Doom is fun, but dunno, I figured it was time for a change. You think that the doomposting is better.

Most definitely.

It's not as bizarre as the dude that Hulkposts on here with the green text. It was most enjoyable. Besides, Victor doesn't get enough love.
