Justice League Movie (Nov 17th, 2017)

That sucks. Oh well. I'll still catch it on the big screen but expectations couldn't be lower.

There are some cool action scenes with one really standout one but the narrative yikes.

Only time Batman looked bad *** was literally his first shot perched staring at a criminal, he looked beastly. The rest of the movie he looked goofy.

Yes Ezra makes good use of his eye acting.


Atlantis is literally a small structure lol


Gordon was in it for exactly 2 minutes.


Alfred was as much a waste as Gordon was.


Why was Superman angry when he resurrected, why did WW tell Bruce that Superman would be angry upon seeing him. Did I watch a different BvS? Didn’t Batman save Superman’s earth mother?


Cyborg, yikes. He just made no sense whatsoever. Horrible character.


Aquabro was ok I guess but his problems at home also made no sense.


WW used her full gauntlet powers just for a thug in a bank next to kids lol


I got tired of WW. She was good but it then just became the same thing over and over with her.


Superman mustache is the least of the problems in this movie.


Superman grand entry in costume was very anticlimatic especially after we just saw him during the resurrection scene and battle with the heroes.


Lol at the 1 family around at the climax just to be rescued.


Superman angry then not angry was really poorly handled.


Flash powers were really kind of wasted but for the most part visually he worked.


The pathos and emotional dynamics of Superman returning wasted. Hell there was no pathos for anyone.


Deathstroke looked like cosplay lol


Holy crap the cgi.


What I liked:


Batman’s first appearance opening the movie, seriously bad *** in that one dark moment.


Superman staring at running flash during resurrection scene, very scary Superman there... terrifying really.


Superman rescuing the building joke with Flash.

How does the

beat the villain? How was the final battle? Any cool moments in that final fight?

Marvel hasn't made an objectively bad movie yet. They've certainly flirted with it, but DC has done everything in it's power to make objectively bad movies ever since they let Zack Snyder direct BvS.

First half of this was extremely jumbled and almost harkened back to the jump cut, new song, jump cut, new song rhythm of Suicide Squad.

Once the league was pulled together the film improved drastically as the interactions between the heroes was pretty solid. Steppenwolf is very forgettable and basic. There were some scenes present in the trailers that didn't make the theatrical cut and you can definitely tell the short run time did nothing to help the film. Wasn't as terrible as most will say, but it wasn't great either. Just okay. End credits scenes gave me enough hope for where they're headed though. Overall, I think the ultimate cut of BVS was way better than this. Maybe we'll get a ultimate cut for Blu Ray release.

Superman freezes his axe with cold breath. WW breaks his axe with her sword. Steppenwolf becomes scared. Parademons smell his fear and carry him away probably to Darkseid who is NOT in this movie. I figured he was going to be revealed in the 2nd post credits scene but a big fat nope to that! So Batman could’ve just frozen Steppenwolf’s axe all that time, some detective. Oh and Batman goes on a suicide mission with the batmobile but the others stop him from killing himself. It’s worse than it sounds there was no drama to be had lol

Jeez maybe The force was behind both this and Thor being a disappointment so there will be no competition for TLJ

She was one of the better characters in the film, but she kind of does (or tries to do) the same fighting move in every battle

She was more enjoyable in the fight scenes, along with Aquaman and Superman. Wish they would've showed more of Aquamans powers though.

Ok i’m about to seriously contradict myself because I called the movie an abortion BUT YES I still recommend seeing it on a big screen because there are a few cool action scenes but just be prepared to be shocked at the level of cgi that WB thought was ok in 2017 yikes.

So not for the visuals but yes for the action beats lol
