1 worst comic book movie reviewed of the year,

2 (if it opens less than 100 mil) worst opening weekend for a cbm this year

3 and the worst of them all opening leas than Thor(!)

Only thing that can "save" it is overseas market.

Early Friday reports seem to suggest re the international market - not. It is kinda weird tho. Low critic reviews don't necessarily affect BO.

WW had an obscene amount of it however.

As one of the few "true believers" in the Snyderverse, I'm glad Zack knows we're out there... somewhere...

Winter soldier and civil war actiin scenes give me nausea

Fanboys and critics have dinged Justice League and BvS for being of a visualist versus a Kubrickan cinematic bent, the latter of which Christopher Nolan delivered to the Dark Knight franchise. There was promise when Whedon stepped in, but as one rival studio executive told me, “I’ve never heard of a director completely changing the DNA of a movie when he’s called in for reshoots. That’s inherent in the script from the onset.”

Sounds as tho WB execs were in the mix as well. Always loved Ripley Scott's intro to the director cut of Kingdom of Heaven where he point-blank sez this version is the one people should watch. IMO it IS better - less choppy.

Maybe the JL BR will be better too.

I can understand WB fast-tracking the DCEU since BvS, to get it all out there before the fatigue set in.

The moment whedon got in the doubt started. Then the news of the cgi mustache got everyone thinking wtf

These might have been minor things but it all started like that.
I dont think it has to do with thor,
Just the bad trailers and the reviews and fatigue.

I enjoyed this. It's a mess but it's an amiable mess. Some forced levity but it's obvious that Snyder eschewed his pre-fab gloom before Whedon showed up - it's nowhere to be found. There are bad Whedon-style jokes and bad regular jokes but more good ones of both.
The CGI invisible moostache isn't nearly as distracting as Affleck's botox-rollercoaster head and funky reshoot wig.
Having only seen it once IMO the biggest difference between this and BvS is likability. Both have weak stories and weak villains. One tries too hard to be gloomy and the other too hard to be cheery.
Major growing pains but a step in the right direction IMO.

I liked it, very flawed but it's basically Avengers, CGI and reshoots still jarring but not as noticeable in the big screen.

If you didn't like BVS and didn't like this, but you like MCU stuff, you're a retard, this is literally MCU.

And it goes without saying RT is bs, I'd give this a 6.5 or a 7.
