Crap I shouldn’t have taken my 9 year old to see SS, BvS and let him watch Robocop 1, Predator 1, The Thing 82 and Die Hard at home.

The only difference between Avengers and JL is that Avengers actually makes sense lol

Avengers wasn’t a change of course it all felt natural not rushed.

Had WW been a box office bomb that Aquaman movie would’ve never started filming.

So now what does WB do with these actors if JL bombs.

Sheesh what a mess WB has in their hands.

This is a fact.. They really blew it with their Dark MOS, their no fun to be had BvS, and their dumb Suicide Squad..

While not a perfect film I feel that they started to figure it out with JL and defiantly Wonder Woman but I fear its too late.. The film probably won't do well and the series will die.. Other then Wonder Woman.. We will probably get more films with her. Perhaps all the heros will just start appearing in her films and that will be our form of JL films.

Have not watched the review but this film I call BS with the Batman and Robin comparison.. JL is far better then that dung pile IMO..

I do think you’re missing one critical component of the MCU.

All 17 movies as a whole formed a very strong bond with the general audience so your lasting impact comment is really not accurate.

So while TWS was great and Doctor Strange was weak what matters most is what Marvel created as a whole.

That’s the critical link the DCEU is missing, that’s where WB failed.

Marvel has made people care about their characters regardless of the weaker entries.

MCU is successfull because of that vibrant lasting impact.

With DCEU all people talk about is cgi mustache.

With Cap all we talk about is his heroism and fighting skills.

The 2 properties couldn’t be farther apart so that’s why I laugh when people say they are clones.

Post of the year... MARVEL had a plan... DC was playing catch up with no real plan. They were too stubborn to admit their mistakes with Snyder and they are now paying for it.

Had this film been released with no MOS, BvS, or SS before it then I think this film would be HUGE... But people have a terrible taste in tier mouth from those films.. Too bad because I enjoyed this one and would like to see more of this team.

OK, I agree. It isn't like your typical Disney comic with bright colors and snappy jokey dialogue to undercut the fighting. (well until now with JL )

But consider the source material -- comics -- and you have to admit that Superman and Batman are made for kids, and teens and for "The kid" inside of you. You don't get "hooked" on Batman or Superman as an adult. Comics are for kids. Therefore, comic movies are made for that audience -- the grown up ones AND the kids currently reading them.

Maybe not appropriate for 5-8 years olds, but 12-18 year olds eat that sheet up and you know it.

BTW, TLJ is 2.5 hours long and probably has some scary monsters and you gonna tell me Star Wars isn't made for kids.

Kids that are scared by BvS, MOS, or SS are pussies
