Ridley Scott didn't love Sci-Fi....and then he did Alien.

But it's not his achievement entirely - without the participation of Shusett, O'Bannon, Giger and Goldsmith this movie wouldn't exist.
We've seen what he worth alone in "Prometheus"... meh

That's incredibly true. But still. You can't deny it was well crafted all around. Even while working with the writers, it's the director's vision.

But Prometheus was something interesting. He enjoyed Sci-Fi at that point. He just made the mistake of not explaining ____. Which didn't work in his favor.

With a movie likely to be made in the next 3-4 years, maybe sooner who would you cast taking into account a possible franchise. I know the girl from John Carter is a few people's choice but for me she hasn't got the look. My first choice Moncia Belucci is too old and whoever does get the role will have large boots to fill to be as good as Lynda Carter. I have not seen much of this girls work other than Percy Jackson and while not six foot she does have the look.
