Wonder Woman in the comics doesn't usually look like she could kick everyone's ass from a physical point of view. She's usually drawn like a supermodel, not a bodybuilder.
I pretty much agree with all of that.I still think Jon Hamm would be an awesome Batman, and I think his age would add an interesting dynamic to it. He's a weathered crime fighter, and he's already wondering how long he can keep this up, and now, he's got to keep up with what are essentially gods. That being said, casting Hamm would leave a limited window for sequels, and, if each takes 3-4 years to produce, I'd say that, at most, they could get 2 Batman films and 2 Justice League films out before his age starts to catch up to him. Add to that the constraints of being in a television show, and I think that my wish is that much more unlikely.
The woman can tone up in something called the gym.

Captain America is "John Cena" big in the comics and Evans worked. 5'8 would do just fine for Wonder Woman. That would still make her taller than half her male costars.
What is MOST important is acting talent. Get people in there who can deliver. Anything physical that needs to be overcome can be done with either CGI or at times a pair of heels or a box. If DC/WB goes looks first and foremost this thing is destined to fail.
Wonder Woman is actually really tall, too. This chick is 5'8. But I guess there are cinematic ways around that.
Anyone seen Michael Radford's Merchant of Venice? Lynn Collins played Portia. Jeremy Irons and Al Pacino were in it too. That could be a good indication of whether or not she could handle Diana.
