There are some weathering paint kits out there, but I have no idea how well they work.

Yeah, I've got the Rainman figure already, so I'm painting the Rocco Dude as an alternate version of that character. Eyes on that one are a real ***** to paint because the squinty eyes are so small.

When you guys say small brushes, how small are we talking?

VERY VERY SMALL INDEED buddy 0000/00000 are the thinnest i think

I've tried finding a 0000 but never seem to have any luck... I've generally been using a 20/0 which seems fine for most detail work. But I imagine the 0000 would be great for being able to replicate the look of individual hairs.

Customs have become my real focus in this hobby, and I have started taking on more and more of these efforts myself. So, here is where I will post such things.

Rocco's Ash I painted (on a body I got already weathered from K. Bowen):

and my full Ghostbusters set up with a mix of Rocco and Snyder-Man heads painted by Cheungkinmen and Skiman, outfits dyed and put together by myself:

Currently working on Rocco's Walter, Ray (trying another one myself) and the Dude, and Snyder-Man's Deckard.

Sent you a PM dude. Also, just picked up a painted Slimer from thenatos and can't wait to display him with the rest of the gang

Speaking of the Ghostbusters, tonight I made a mod to correct for something that has been bugging me for awhile now. My Snyderman Venkman was painted by a different painter than were my other Ghostbusters. Though the paint job was very good, he was fairly pale in relation to the others (you can sort of tell in the pic I posted). Tonight I modified his skin tone so that he was more uniform with the other guys. This was a bit tricky, because the painter of the other guys has a specific skin painting style with some subtle shading that I needed to mimic a bit. I held off on this for the longest time out of fear that I would screw it up, but I am very happy with how it came out.

Yeah they are one of my favorites as well and are displayed in the living room. At one point I had them scrunched up inside the detolf too
