No offense to any other sculptor but the Bobby head has been the best Ledger/Joker head I have seen yet. Especially with the interrogation scene makeup.

It is certainly the best in quality, but there is just something about it I don't like. I wish Eric would have finished his Joker sculpt, I'm sure it would have been amazing.

Ya he didn't say he's not finishing it or anything but the thread is as good as dead ,Maybe he feels hot toys might get it right with the 2.0 and that the sculpt is not worth his time.

Give him some time. Sometimes a sculptor needs to put a project on hold for weeks or even months. If he isnt feeling it, he wont deliver a top product. I am pretty sure, that this board will go crazy again when DKR is finally out.

Of course, i'm all for giving artists as much time as they need.
I suppose this is a discussion for another thread (and one that has, no doubt, been had multiple times before), but though I agree with your sentiment in some ways, there are limits. Artists just aren't gonna produce quality work and are not gonna be happy doing what they do if they feel that they are a business being forced to pump something out on a timetable. But after waiting 2 years for a DarkArtist custom and had no evidence it was ever going to be finished, I figured I had waited long enough. Guys tend to get in over their heads. I know many custom artists get excited about projects and want to do a lot of things at once. But it's a real bummer when these guys create the problems we've seen before with the Chis Howes, Les Walker, DarkArtist, Boot25, etc. I doubt that any of those guys did what they did with bad intentions, but what happened happened. Not only does it leave collectors without money and parts, but those customizers end up a lot less happy and disenchanted with their hobby for getting in too deep. I hope that didn't happen with Adam, because I desperately want one of his Begins Batman sculpts.

I believe those guys are different. They have all taken more than they can chew. They were greedy.
Zculptor and Adam are different guys. Zculptor might not finish each and every project as fast as we want, but he doenst take any mney up front, so there is no need to be worried. Even if he disappears tomorow and decides to part with the whole freaks board there wont be any Howes effect. No payment - no damage.
Same for Adam who has fullfilled all his commitments except for the last one (which has been cleared from my knowledge).
These two guys are cool in my eyes.

That's about how the way I work as well, of course unpainted runs are easy, cast and be gone all the madness is out of my hair. With painted items I tread softly.
Void told me to never do a Ledger sculpt.

Ah, that's good to hear then. I thought there was an issue where someone was waiting 6 months or more for an Adam sculpt he paid for upfront, but that might not have been the norm. I think that's just good practice all the way around.
