Natrix? Vader? Nothing yet? Yeah me neither. This month of December has been torture waiting for Keaton Batman V3, Joker V2 & Jor-El.
Please people post some new pictures as soon as you can.

Nothing yet unless it came today, which is surprising as it sounded like they might have started shipping out last Friday.

The wait is TORTURE!!

It has been over a month but Shawn has been sick and making improvements to the figure during that time as well.

Just came across this thread and figured i would post the one i have in my collection.

There, clipped a couple pix so the quote wouldn't be so long...but the original post is a couple pages back.

IMHO, Small's work has been underappreciated here. His skin tones are very subtle, and better appreciated with the naked eye than the camera. J Small, I missed out on your eBay auction of a complete Ellen Ripley a few months ago, but I was the winner of your subsequent auction of a Ripley head. Got the rest of the figure in bits later. Really fine layering and natural details -- slight blueish insomnia tinge under the eyes, and very fine (and true-to-scale) trickles of sweat down the temples. Fine iris detail and no white dot. I don't own a macro lens, but it would take one to capture it, and it would hold up under enlargement like few others. This Batman looks similar. Painting the eyelids black to match the screen image makes it hard to make the eyes come to life, but it looks in these photos like you've done it. I hope to see more Small Studios stuff...maybe your own thread in the Customs Forum?

I'm really excited at the prospect of Shawn's *improved* ninety-percent more flexible, dead-on masterwork arriving at my doorstep soon. Loved the two subsequent Shawn interpretations, Shawn and Les ought to open a Batman museum together.

The only version I've yet to see is a good Clooney. Of course, it'd have to have sculpted nipples, and there goes the museum's dignity right out the window...

Gruff i remembr the Ripley sculpt! Just didnt realize you won it lol. Glad you liked it and thanks for the kind words as well! For those who ordered Shawns Batman, i have owned a few in the past and they are very well made. Who ever has ordered on will surely like it.

I like it from this angle, and in every shot the cape material looks great, but the body/head prorportions seem off overall.

Another thing I love about Shawn's, the body shape really feels like Keaton off the screen too, way the cape hangs and all.

This is my first custom figure and he is well worth it. The improvements are great. His thighs which I originally thought were too thick are leaner now. His thicker neck looks better. No problems with the details tranferring on to the rubber cowl. It'll be hard to improve him. Enjoy.
