I'm not saying that this kind of thing doesn't happen, because I'm sure it does. But I really get the impression that "LFL made 'em do it" is being overused as an excuse. Sometimes Sideshow actually does make mistakes or does something half-assed, without being forced to do it by some faceless LFL suit. In this case, it seems unlikely to me that LFL would care that much if if or when they put out a minor Jedi.

It's not so much an excuse as trying to understand the situation. The details of this release, regardless of figure quality, are some very bizarre ones that seem out of charater of sorts, and one can't help but wonder why. Here you have a figure that seems to have a certain level of hard work put into it, yet some of the easier things, like 2 more or even just one more hand, is missing and certainly some sort of EU item could have been thrown in for accessory to give him a little something more, I'm sure he's semi integral in the new CW series. It's a perplexing release to me.

FREAK: Hey, what are you trying to push on us?

Whaaaa?

If the head were about 20% smaller or the body just a bit bigger, I think the proportions would be fine. They're not horrificly off, but it is noticeable from some angles.

Didn't really get much of a chance to check him out, but I will agree the proportions look funky. Too me it really looks like the super small boots are really causing the rest of him to look extra top heavy.

So.....The only accessory is a lightsaber, he's still on the buck, and he's $70? Yeah, I think I'll pass. I agree with those that say it looks like SSC really rushed this one out.

What!? You crazy mon. :)

There's been some debate about that one, pretty much everytime a collectible
shows up at my house or office, but that's not relevant to this :lol.

I was originally posting this to make a point but as I look at it my point changes haha. From the waist up, he looks fine, head, upper body and arms seem in proportion to each other. Something about the lower body, length of the legs, boot size, something is making him seem out of whack, but that's where it really lies I think. I'm really thinking this may be on the short buck, if it is, I'm sure a swap to a larger body will fix things.

I ordered him, and the more I look at the figure, the finer I am with that choice, he'll look great with the other Jedi or in a CW lineup.
