....Wasn't able to take the pic in natural sunlight but at least the lighting source is the same...
Kinda wish the KA didn't have the black lines now...but still happy with it.
Wow... in your pic of the KA shield, the middle ring and star look white, especially compared to the HT Cap Shield.
The red and blue look pretty damn close on both though.

Yeah that has been mentioned - sometimes the pictures make the metallic parts look white.
Here are my original pics, different lighting and a little less white looking...and in real life, the metallic parts do look more metallic.

There's no gloss over it, or a lot less than on the red and blue.
Does your classic shield have any of the blotching in the silver areas?
It looks pristine from you photos. I know they said that King Arts tried to fix the issue with
the second batch of these they received.
Also, did you pick this up from BBTS or somewhere else?

I did see "splashes" I guess, but I had to look really hard and at a certain angle in the light, so very hard to notice. But if I can remember they were in the non silver areas. But I'm not too picky so if it isn't blaring, it usually doesn't bother me. I'll see if I can spot them again this weekend before I hang it.
I got my shield from BBTS pre-order last year.

I got my 2nd Classic(Wall Mount) from BBTS, and there's no splashes/blotches at all.
Just noticed "QC sticker" on the outer box, though...
I didn't remember if my 1st Classic or Stealth has that sticker or not, since I have got rid of those boxes.

Thank you!!! I love the matte red and blue on the hot toys version . Just like the king arts stealth cap shield has both blues matte . And I think I preffer the raw silver on the stealth king arts and hot toys mini shield . I kinda don't like how they painted it a light grey paint over it . Makes it look white . Lol funny as some ppl wanted it white in the movie , I was fine with silver . I cannot decide if I should order this king arts classic wall or wait for a AOU King arts version .... :/

OK, I just did it. Took 6 hours or so. Not bad, I think

Was this QC shield bought from their current eBay listing?
If so, I may need to take the plunge again....

I didn't check with the one from eBay, so I'm wondering.(I throw them away...)
Luckily both Classic Shields have no splashes at all.
But as you know, I just converted one classic to BD though.

I just used several Sand Papers from #150 ~ #2000.
Then painted Lacquer Color using Airbrush. (Clear Red, Clear Blue, and Black etc.)

Awesome custom BD job on that shied . Kinda looks better than King arts version .

So I talked to BBTS yesterday and this morning and they confirmed that they had the "QC" sticker on
the outer box of their Classic Wall-Mounted Shields (the remaining 8 that are currently listed on eBay).
In checking out other box pictures of this, looks like batch #1 of the wall mounts did not
have the sticker on them. I am guessing because of the issues and complaints that King Arts received
initially, they decided to inspect batch #2 of these before they shipped out.
Fingers crossed that I get one that is paint issue-free! It will be here on Friday!!!!!
Next up... finding a Pedestal Stealth Shield.
