So I talked to BBTS yesterday and this morning and they confirmed that they had the "QC" sticker on
the outer box of their Classic Wall-Mounted Shields (the remaining 8 that are currently listed on eBay).

In checking out other box pictures of this, looks like batch #1 of the wall mounts did not
have the sticker on them. I am guessing because of the issues and complaints that King Arts received
initially, they decided to inspect batch #2 of these before they shipped out.

Fingers crossed that I get one that is paint issue-free! It will be here on Friday!!!!!

Next up... finding a Pedestal Stealth Shield.

#1 batch having lot of Paint Issues. So they delayed the shippment of the 2nd batch.
That's the reason why Wall Mount took time to be shipped, and now it comes with QC Sticker
Therefore, I really believe that #1 batch did NOT have those QC Stickers...

I keep watching that ebay inventory slowly go down as I contemplate adding more debt to get this shield.

I really dig that wall mount. As for the BD version, I'll probably go the RPF route and get one done there.

Yeah, I would say it's worth it. Considering those licensing issues, it will be getting harder and harder to get KA Shield.

These shields will continue to get rarer once the last of the BBTS eBay listings are gone.

Not sure how many shields that Midtown still has in stock, but they only have the Pedestal ones, and at $900+ shipping
each, they are not going to get any cheaper.

Damn I so want one of those shields. I hopefully can pick one of them up before they are completely gone. I'm planning to get one for my Birthday in November and the Wall Mount Version I would get but not sure if BBTS will have the classic left in stock on eBay until then. If it starts selling down to one I may just have to bite the bullet and get it. I also would like to get the Stealth but the pedestal version is fine for that one.

Midtown Comics have them all 3 pedestal ver. It's $899 + Shipping, but if you used their APP for the first time,
it gives you 20% off, means $719 + Shipping. That is probably cheaper than BBTS:eBay Store.($799+$88)

Just FYI on the pedestal versions, there have been no boxes with the QC sticker on them.

If you order a classic pedestal version from anyone, most likely it will have the splotching in some way...
most likely in the silver ring area of the shield.

As far as I can tell, none of the stealth shields have that issue.
So ordering that one or the Battle-Damaged, you should be good.

For the cost, if you want a way to put it up on the wall the wall mount from BBTS is the
best option, even at that price. Basically you are only paying another $80.00 for the light-up frame.
Which, as illustrated above, looks pretty damn cool when lit up!

By the way, I forgot to mention that I have also painted Wall Mount Frame to gloss black.
Originally it was pale brown, which I didn't like much...

how did u do that? did u tape of the blue parts not to get them paint on them? and what [paint and brush did u use? looks great . do u have any more before and after pics?

It looks awesome . It will match the AOU thor wallmmount version perfect now . The mjnoir has blue and a black trim . When I get mine I'm afraid I'll get black paint on the blue part and on the button , you did it perfect .

same wall mount of you made/painted 2 of them? I'm still on the fence if i wanted the classic shield to have had the same raw metal look for the star and ring , because it looks so nice on that stealth Shield along with the matte paint .

I have 2 classic wall mounts, and 1 stealth pedestal.
Then I converted one of the classic shields to BD Effect.

Yes, I painted 2 wall mount frames to gloss black.
One for Classic and the other for the Stealth.
I use pedestal for BD shield, because easy to grab it when
someone breaks into my house, you know
