I have 2 classic wall mounts, and 1 stealth pedestal.
Then I converted one of the classic shields to BD Effect.

Yes, I painted 2 wall mount frames to gloss black.
One for Classic and the other for the Stealth.
I use pedestal for BD shield, because easy to grab it when
someone breaks into my house, you know

Ah , now I see how the customization "happened" on the classic one . Nice!

Just noticed AOU "Cracked Shield" and Convention Exclusive BD Shield are currently on eBay.

Convention Exclusive BD $1399

They are both pedestal version.

I thought Cracked one is one-off, and not for sale... so maybe it's a display model???

In other news, I received my FedEx box with the Classic Wall Mount Version today (a day early!!!),
and NO SPLOTCHES!!! So excited to have one with a great paint job!

The wall mount is nice, but I have a stand for it for now. Would like to pick up a stealth shield
to put on the wall mount. After all was said and done, I really like this shield compared to the efx one.

I think the metal puts it over the top.

Just a heads up on the BBTS ebay shields. It looks like they stopped the buy it now option and are now going auction with one shield. I was pretty sure they had about 7 left.

Obviously, they didn't come with rechargeable battery and AC power though...(requires 8 AA batteries)

Yeah you are correct the king arts website that's for the July batch of this year also says rechargable , guess They didn't update like u said . But it says *fixed* ? Could it just be the ones with the sticker ? Since it says q4 2015- q1 2016 when they are estimated to arrive/ship

"Fixed"was always in the description. I interpreted it as "attached" to frame.

There wasn'tnt a new batch. PO for pedestal and wall mount frame were at same time. The wall mount shields do appear to have better paint apps (yes, released after pedestal) but each type of shield doesn't appear to have a "batch" a la SS PFs. Later/future releases are just different versions.

Different version ? Because I had pre-ordered it and like I said it says late 2015-2016 . That's whyni canceled because I wasn't sure what version it was ....

I think that listing date is just a typo. From what I was told by King Arts Customer Service,
the main three shields are all done with their production runs (both wall mount and pedestal).

Any future shields will be different than the original 3 versions, or variants of them (i.e. HKAGC Exclusive Bullet-Damaged),
and those runs will be pretty limited. That convention one was limited to 100 pedestal units.

I wish they would go back and do the raw unpainted metal shield, but that one was only 50 units from what I heard,
so it is pretty doubtful they will do it again.

While the efx shield is still to be had at retail price, I fully believe that the King Arts shields will
be north of $1,000.00 by years' end.

It had the splotching all through the silver ring and I did not like that at all.

Glad I took the chance again with this one. I really love the wall mount frame, and
that gloss and shine when the light hits it really makes it a great shield. Not to mention the clang when you tap it.

After seeing what happened with the BBTS eBay listing last night, I am REALLY glad I jumped on
the Buy It Now when I did! I would have been so pissed if I had waited. Wonder what happened?
Unless they sold off the rest of them somehow, except for the two ones up for auction... curious.

I sent them a message yesterday to ask them if they sold the remaining 7 or so shields. Hoping to hear back from them soon.

They are usually pretty good with returning emails, but I will say that their reps have been very careful in
not saying too much about the King Arts prop replicas. They have given out very little information since
they pulled them from the website months ago.
