Prop King Arts 1:1 Replicas

They are usually pretty good with returning emails, but I will say that their reps have been very careful in
not saying too much about the King Arts prop replicas. They have given out very little information since
they pulled them from the website months ago.

They just replied and you're right, very vague in their response. BBTS basically said that if they have more shields to sell, they are not sure if they will be sold via auction or buy it now.

Yep... kind of what I expected. I am guessing that they either sold a few to someone locally out of the warehouse
or just mis-judged their inventory. Either way, I would figure there may be one or two more auction style listings from them
and then they will be done with the shields.

BBTS just messaged me again apologizing for the confusion. There was some kind of mix up with their listing and meant to do a buy it now listing. So it's back up and there's 5 available. All is right in the world again. Whew!

I'm not passing this up and will buy one right now.

Just checked ebay. Wow! All five sold a few hours after BBTS put up the buy it now listing. Glad I got in on one.

So, I was thinking about what my walls needed the other day and decided a Captain America shield would be amazing ,so started looking into options. Cat toys, lager, king arts, efx. I seem to be a bit late to this party (frustratingly just missing the bbts listings by a day or two). A few quick questions if I may:

Are there more KA shields expected for AoU and CW? It seemed like there was a suggestion of that, but I can't find the announcement anywhere.
Anyplace (other than eBay...say an Asian retailer) to pick up the wall-mounted shield?

I like the colors/finish and price of the cat toys, but the way the star goes to the edge of the blue just bugs me enough. I like the KA but the possibility of blemished paint on the pedestal version gives me pause and the wall mount is that much more expensive. Lager looks good, but overly glossy and efx looks great, but the detailing of the star is lost compared to the other options. *sigh*

There is a listing for the age of ultron shattered shield on EBay for 2000 which is crazy. Thing is I thought this was prototype rejected by Marvel so how is this company selling it? They are advertising as King Arts. Is this THE prototype or some Chinese knock-off, recast? I Pm'ed seller but no response yet.

That's exactly what I was gonna do! I bid on the shied and then the 7 shields they had left disappeared ! so as soon as they came back I went witth the buy it now . Not to risk the auction going higher than that! The auction is still at 500+ so it's still under the 799 mark

Wow. And they said they only had those 5 and also that they wouldn't know when if they would have any . the auction one is still at $520 with $88 shipping ,not too bad . If I would of waited I might of saved a couple hundred

Why take that chance? The majority of bids happen within the last couple of hours and then a frenzy happens seconds before it ends. It's too late for me to go back, just got my shipping notification. Stoked!!

I wonder if BBTS has more than they let on. It's too bad they will no longer sell future KA props. I really like the IM gauntlet and maybe an AOU shield.

Congrats . 3 left at BIN and 1 on auction and it's currently at $788 with shipping . Doubt it's gonna be sold for less than 799 and if the bin ones sell out . The auction will go higher asap !

I dropped out at 690 and went with the buy now option. You never now how high it's gonna go if u really want it lol.

I won the battle damaged version for 710 plus shipping. I got 3 shields now. 1 efx and 2 king arts.

It ended and sold for $818 total that's a decent $70 savings from the BIN listings BBTS has .
