Evil is right, MCU jokes are plentiful but what are you gonna do the formula is working for Marvel so you know other studios are going to copy..cough Justice League...cough.
At least his lines were kind of funny..unlike big time let down Deadpool lol.
Now, while Kong looks great it seems that his size varies from shot to shot.
They're definatey setting up Godzilla with those smaller aligator looking mutos which really don't look that great.
The only really good creature in this trailer besides Kong was the giant spider.
Since I have no standards my ass will be in the theater as usual, hell I even went to Fantastic Four.

At least John C Reilly is playing an oddball, casting Jack Black in 2005 Kong was a big misstep.

One more movie I'm not remotely excited about. Another attempt to cash in on vague nostalgia for an ancient franchise. And an obvious bridge film between Godzilla and the inevitable Kong vs. Godzilla movie that was the only reason this was greenlit in the first place. Makes me appreciate Pacific Rim a bit more for at least being somewhat original (putting aside Robot Jox for the sake of argument
).

They would try to make it "gritty and realistic" somehow, which would suck. But yeah, Gamera, Kong, and Jet team up against Godzilla, Mothra, and Rodan. Mecha Godzilla is the special guest referee.

Big change in tone from the first trailer, but John C Reilly is a favorite of mine, so I don't mind.

I'd rewatch Final Wars two times before even thinkin' about this one.
A period piece with a colorful cast of characters is already 500% better than GINO14.
One of the worst G-films.
