Well I definitely recind my statement about not seeing the likeness... the unpainted sculpt is unbelievable! I know Sideshow takes the style of pictures for a reason, but damn toss in a couple artsy ones so we can get a better feel for the product.

Still not something I would buy, but at least I can tell it well done.

The sculpt is really nice, but I'm not a fan of the awkward pose.

As far as selection, I would have thought they would first release a companion piece to the ROTLA Indy, such as bar scene Marion. If I collected PFs, I wouldn't have the desire to place two Indy's right next to each other.

That unpainted sculpt is awesome, Trevor really is the man! Something about the paint apps in the pics we've seen though seems off. I can see Harrison in there, but it doesn't look quite as good as the first PF. I won't jump to conclusions until more pics come out though, and the final production paint job is another story altogether.

Another one allready???

Yep, 6 products into the line and 4 are Indy. If this was LOTR or SW, the fans would be going insane over that.

One bad guy with a ton of inaccuracies, an upcoming bad guy whos exclusive is wrong in look, and now 2 more Indys in a row, one barebones overpriced and this with at least 5 problems around the costume.

Trevor is the only one getting anything right with his sculpts and SS is all but destorying his work with shoddy paint and poor attention to detail.

The SW fans would freak if they released Bespin Han Solo with a vest instead of Jacket, Indy's costumes film to film are more subtle, but that doesn't mean they should neglect it, not at a $300 pricetag.

The difference between Star Wars and Indiana Jones is that the former dose not one have one character that stands out amongst the others. Most fans of the Star Wars fans have a different favourite, Mine's Vader for others Han Solo and so on.
You could name at least 20 that would make and are great PF's. Same goes for LOTR
Indiana Jones on the other hand is the star of the show. Yes there could be other characters that would great 1/6th figures and PF's, but most people would still rather have a Map Indy or a TOD Indy after this one.

Thats understandable tho Henry Sr would sell just as well and is a well known favorite.

And if you go by the poll here on this site, actually most people want Marion or Mola Ram next not any other Indy variant.

My problem is that they are getting details wrong as well as giving us the same characters. This basically looks like they reused everything clothing wise so far from the Raiders PF. That combined with the variants of the same character is what makes is appear lazy and as if they are just milking the character.

Hopefully they make the changes to the costume.

More Indy`s than other characters of the movies is fine, but it`s a second PF allready that surprised me,i NEVER though we would ever see a second Indy PF,didnt think it was necessery.

Not trying to ruin anything for you fans,im sure you enjoy it im just saying that i was surprised:D

Once again, watch the original promotional video on SSC's site. Almost ALL the PF's will be of Indy. They specifically said that. They'll branch out with other characters in the 1/6 scale line (assuming it continues of course.)

I have to agree on the Clothing.
The Shoulder bag should be an easy fix.
But Sideshow need to be on top of those paint jobs and clothing specs.
I just hope they listen to IndyGear.
Maybe it's a good thing they did such an early preview.

That looks great! NO caveman look :rock

Maybe the fact that the first Indy PF is still in stock will light a fire under SSC to make this PF as accurate as possible. I'm not as picky as some but I'd definitely want the jacket to be longer.

Trevor's sculpt, as always, is outstanding. I just don't trust the paint apps, as this almost always seems to be Sideshow's stumbling block.

I just don't see how it's worthwhile for Sideshow to make nearly nothing but Indys in the PF line. Seems to me a waste of the line's potential to not explore other characters. I would imagine that each Indy would come with the respective artifact from each film. To me, that's the only way it makes sense, as the differences in costume are just not enough (except for ToD) to buy all Indys from all films in that scale and at the $300 price point. Seems something best suited for the 1/6 line.

So much for the Mola Ram PF then.

ALMOST all the PFs will be Indy. (Except for Mola Ram and Henry, Sr.)

I'm not going to give up hope...

Sideshow's product line will be inclusive of all four Indiana Jones films and will include 12-inch Figures, Premium Format Figures, and Life-size Busts that will range in price from $69.99 to $599.99

Which reminds me--where is the 1:1 bust?

I hope they make a PF of Indy from all the films. I'll get them for sure. Belloq had some issues with his outfit but the rest of the items have looked quite nice to me. Damn happy to have them honestly. Indy is one of my top 1:6th figures in my collection.
