Looks like another KILLER sculpt from Trevor! I hope SS has Trevor EXCLUSIVELY on their Harrison Ford sculpts from now on...

Shame you can't get busts like this unpainted. Kinda like the Ancient Roman and Greek busts

ALMOST all the PFs will be Indy. (Except for Mola Ram and Henry, Sr.)

I'm not going to give up hope...

I could definitely see Mola Ram and Henry Sr. making the short list for PF's. I'm guessing that'd be it though. And honestly a part of me wonders whether Mola Ram might be another Medieval Kurgan. There's a lot of enthusiasm posted for him on the boards but how many people would really plunk down $300 for him? 30 or 40 people? We'll have to see.

I'd probably buy anything Sideshow released ToD-related, specifically Mola Ram (in both PF and 1:6). It's really hard to be optimistic though when the discussions of wants which seem to be practically universal with collectors on the board don't translate into Sideshow products, with a few exceptions. I've seen that with LOTR, SW, Marvel, and now Indy.

As far as selection, I would have thought they would first release a companion piece to the ROTLA Indy, such as bar scene Marion

It could be a Lucasfilm thing to promote KOTCS Blu-ray sales or the possibility of further films starring "Old Man" Jones.

Very surprising choice. The pose looks unnatural to me. All the other concerns being voiced here are easy fixes I think. Hope they get that pose sorted out. PF Han Solo had the same issue I think-odd body weight shift (though that looked great in the prototype- anyone know what happened there?).
Overall though I mostly excited to see the line continue. I was worried and find this reassuring. Maybe they'll only do Indy himself in PF-one from each film, and save the 1/6 line for all the other characters. I could live with that....

I do. I would love them from all the movies lined up. As long as there different enough overall and I think thats possible.

First, I have to say Trevor Grove knocks everything out of the park. You can tell he really puts his heart into his work.

Does anyone else agree that it would make sense for companion pieces to directly follow-up each Indy release (Marion for the first Indy perhaps)? Seriously, does anyone really want four Indy's just lined up in a row...or even two for that matter? It already takes almost 12 months for announced product to reach collectors' hands.

Also, what is up with the awkward pose? He doesn't look very comfortable the way his hands are positioned...and something strange is going on with his pelvis, the way his leg is extended. Having KOTCS Indy holding the alien skull would help distinguish the piece.

I just hope Sideshow understands why they might have trouble selling their products (same goes for their 1/6 line). Indy is a very lucrative franchise if someone knows how to treat it right.

Hey Josh, I wasn't saying they should not release all four Indy's. I'm saying, because of the long release schedules, it would be nice if they released companion pieces between the Indys to add variety to the displays.

Well, it would depend on who honestly. I have no interest in buying Marion in PF form and I doubt she would sell very many. So honestly outside of maybe 2-3 people who else would be a seller in PF?

People talk about Raiders Indy and KOTCS Indy as bookends. Definitely a cool idea. TOD Indy and KOTCS would also work as bookends since according to the film chronology TOD was actually his first adventure, not Raiders.

EDIT: Actually TOD would have been Harrison's first adventure as Indy. So technically another "bookend" option would be a River Phoenix Indy PF and then the KOTCS Indy.
