^^^ To be fair in that episode Stan hates everything.

I rented LA Noire and loved it for the first two desks, homicide was slow and i had to give it back so i didn't finish Vice or get to Arson.

I was gonna buy it but didn't see myself going back to it much once completed, my main problem, was Cole picking something up and dismissing it even though i thought it could be used as evidence, would've been better if you could pick and choose what to log in your notebook.

That and on the "hit and run" case when i had all the evidence and was informed to arrest the culprit i went to question the driver, and see if he was involved, i.e payed-off and it went straight into a scripted sequence where you arrest him even though Cole knew he was innocent.

That and how the questioning would go nice and pleasant and Cole would suddenly be all mean and angry for no real reason other than the attitude of the question, it wasn't consistent with the nature of the conversations.

In regards to homicide...

I thought it sucked that time after the third almost identical murder, you knew the characters were innocent, i mean a whole bunch of bodies with the same M.O and the cops are busting your balls to lock away a guy because it's like there is a quota for how many guys they can get in the gas chamber in a month.

I thought it was the bartender guy or more so Donnelly who was so self-righteous and kinda religious that he would be the serial killer bringing "eye for an eye" justice to the wicked and sinful

I just beat LA Noire, had some nice new elements, but game got to repetitive. Hopefully Rockstar makes another Red Dead Redemption.

I just kinda plowed through it at the end, just to get it over with. This game was a dud. It felt like Team Bondi wanted to make Heavy Rain, but Rockstar told them to make it like GTA and this is what happened. Free Roam was totally shoe-horned into the game.

I'm noticing most of the big stores are marking this game down already. A month after its release, and it's already on deep discounts. Amazon was selling it for $44 yesterday, Buy.com had it for $40. Never again am I pre-ordering a game, pre-order bonus or not. Think about it, you buy it at Amazon a month later for $44, pay $10 for the Rockstar Pass, and you've got ALL the DLC for a cheaper price than the people who pre-ordered it at full price for only one of the DLCs.

The system is broken.

The end was a let down but I did enjoyed the game very much tho! IMO, more addictive than RDR which is left on my shelves not completed.

It's $25 at Toys R Us if you buy it with another game on their sale list. I figured Id give it a shot so I bought it. Maybe it'll be an easy platinum for me. :dunno

Wow thats a bit of a dilemma eh? From the comments im getting from you guys, If I buy it, there's almost zero replay value. If I rent it, it'll get boring real fast since it is a game that needs to be played in small doses.

Do You guys recommend la noire or infamous2? I haven't played infamous.

Or maybe...force unleashed 1&2...

Rent it first, if you really enjoy the first 6 or so cases, then the game will probably be right up your alley.

FU 1&2 suck. Infamous 2 is probably your best bet. There's a demo up on PSN, so check that out.

Those are two completely different games. With RDR you can do whatever you want. In Noire you can ummm just drive around.

No..............

Between Infamous or La Noire, personally I would play Infamous 2. More immersive, more interesting locations, and the main character has more personality than a block of wood.

Real life Cole Phelps....not so smart.

I see.

I have only got time to play one game over the next two weeks..will be super busy till November..which is just in time for when the good stuff comes out heheh.

So need to choose wisely...don't wanna waste my time with half-baked stuff if you get my drift.

Seriously, if inFamous 2 is even half as action-packed as the first one it will have twice as much action as LA Noire. . . do the math, haha.

I regret purchasing LA Noire.
