Let's use an example: What color is Han Solo's Hoth parka, brown or blue? Because of environment and color timing it LOOKS blue but was brown. Now take the poncho because of color timing and environment it was blue/grey but looked tan. There are images out there of the poncho off set where it is shown to match the SS poncho.

But there really was never a scene in TPM that you can point to and say, "there it is, blue grey!"

Han's parka you can point to different scenes where it differs, so really it can't be right or wrong 100% of the time.

Disagree. I prefer my toys to be miniature prop replicas. So if the actual cape was gold, then I want gold.

I want them to be a representation of how they looked on the screen.

Gotta say.. i'm with you on this one. I just want it to look like it did in the movie.

Take the lord of the rings for instance.. that trilogy was so heavily saturated and color treated, that it becomes a huge problem with the figures if you are not careful. The elven cloaks are like 10 different colors depending on the lighting!

Screen-accurate is all i'm going for.

This is where I am right now, the likeness if it sticks from proto to prod will be one of the best ever done by SSC. If I don't get the exclusive though I'd be okay with it since I'll never display him it anyway.
