Seriously, however. If it's blue suave lando, and He's NOT on the pro, I'll likely pass.
After al this time He had better be. The only lando i'd be willing to get on the buck right now would be the General :)

then again... if the Exclusive item is good, I'll still get a buck version.
If, IF it is lanndo, and not another spooktacular-style vader train ( Looks at Pix :LOL ) Anyone wanna take a guess at his exclusive item? And I mean a serious guess, we all know he's getting a six-pack of Colt 45 as a regular item, so it can't be that.

Giving a shot here, if we get a Bespin lando, His exclusive item is going to be the mini microphone he uses to tell the city to Evacuate.

My concern is all the completists with that mindset rushing for the exclusive. he meets all my requirements, So I'll get him :) just got Bespin Han as well to go with him and Luke :rock
 
I think SS made a good call on ed size with Lando. They must not be expecting the EX to sell in a larger quantities with the state of economy. I gather a lot of ppl cancelled on the storm trooper (or multiple orders of), which led SS to settle on the smaller edition size for Lando.

As for myself, it is a pass on the Ex and should be easy to pick up the Reg on the secondary market.

My only gripe with the overall figure is the shirt. Reminds me of a Hasbro attempt - really puffy. Lando was slim and sleek damnit. Maybe it needs to be tucked further in the pants.

First time I've seen a Colt 45 ad. Screaming horse freaked me out! :rotfl

Most SS Exclusives I pass on in order to $ave, but the last two have been great. I missed the Sandtrooper one with the iconic droid piece because of an important commitment, but hope to pick it up still on the wait-list.

I really like the Bespin communicator as an alternative to always displaying characters with weapons. Plus that was a key Lando moment, so count me in on the PPO.

I'm no completist. Depending on what the exclusive is, I'll get try and get it. If I don't, I won't sweat it. I don't see Lando coming with something too awesome, anyway.
 
Lando looks great. The sculpt is damed near perfect. Any word on the artist here yet? I like the outfit too, especially the cape...it looks like it's got some weight and substance to it...very cool.

It is odd how the shots make him appear a little short.

I'm not surprised at the low edition size. Times are tightening up for everyone, even at Sideshow I imagine, but the other consideration for that that could be considered is...when this character was released in Hasbro's Action Collection back in the mid-90's, it was always the one left sitting on the shelves. I remember seeing loads of this one on clearance everywhere. I don't think it was a reflection on the figure...it is actually one of Hasbro's better efforts. It just didn't move like the "heroes/creatures" of that wave.

Now the market Sideshow is after is not the parents/grandparents buying toys for the kids like Hasbro was so I expect Lando to do well with the usual crew here.

He's a great looking figure...

Not saying you were mate, but What with all the pissing and moaning that has been done in the past with a lando figure, I'm sure there are several people who said they'd pass on a lando if he was made, that are now planning to get him just because.

I don't care about that lame microphone, so I won't cry if I don't get up in time to order the exclusive.
 
Like it's been said before, I want the microphine as an alternative to always posing with weapons. Plus, it's friggin' Lando Calrissian! I've been waiting and pissing and moaning about the lack of Lando and lack of main characters lately, so I feel if SS release figures like this, I better buy because otherwise I'm a hypocrite. The figure looks great and we need more Empire figures anyway. Bring on the Snowtrooper, Leia and bounty hunters!

Yeah. I will try to get the ex. but I surely won't cry if I can't get in since I don't think it is exactly essential. :lol
 
Halle-^^^^ing-lujah!!!

What an awesome sculpt. Awesome exclusive, awesome tailoring, awesome shoes. It doesn't matter that the clothes are a bit loose, or that the head's a bit big because he'll be going on a True Type for sure.

Damn, I'm happy right now. I will definitely cry if I don't get an exclusive order in.
