Lando Calrissian Priority preorder!!!!

I'm still gonna predcit an overall ES (reg and ex) of around 3,000 for Lando. And 750 selling out in 4 minutes looks like a good sign to me.

Sorry to say, I think hoping SSC utilizes limb extenders is one thing, but if anyone expects them to retool major parts like shoulder and torsos, I think thats highly unlikely.

They spent a chunk of change to make molds and what not for the current design. To redo that is to essentially ask them to scrap all the investment it took to go to the Pro and start over again. Not likely.

Shoulders don't bug me... Leia sized Lando/Dooku does.

neither of my Leia's are anywhere the same size of Belloq or Indy.. I just put them next to eachother, and there is well over half an inch.. i'm sure lando won't be the same size as Leia.. and if they ever DID do Dooku, i'm sure they would figure a way to make him taller.

Either way, I don't expect them to go out of their way to fix the problems much..
afterall.. i have 6 of the 9 members of the fellowship collecting dust, waiting like a lonely puppy for their friends that will never join them..

so yeah.. not really thinking they give a crap if we keep whining about this..

no offense or anything.. I just don't think they will care that much.

I checked last night and Indy is shorter than Bespin Luke.

Uhh.. i don't know what YOU have in your collection..
but my bespin luke is MUCH shorter than the SS Indy...

How about Sideshow utilize their bodies the way they've been designed? Which is to say easily changing height. Perhaps you misread what I have posted? I dunno.

Oh no, I totally agree with you! I think it is really stupid the way they have handled the pro so far. They said it was adjustable, but have only given us one sample of it so far. I'm gonna be just as upset if in the next year none of the Pro's have had any changes made in height.

I just don't really see them going out of their way. And I also don't see them making any changes to the shoulders or as someone said, redo the body bigger. It would just cost them too much.

Like I said, i'm not trying to be a ^^^^! I probably just sound like one.. haha..
but I absolutely agree that if they said it can be changed, it should be changed as needed for every figure..

Just looks like we will have to wait a while to see what they do I guess.

who knows, maybe they will address it in an Ask Sideshow letter or something sometime soon. We can only hope.

One thing about Indy and Snake Eyes. It could be that with as tight as clothing as they have, that SSC may have foreseen that lengthing either the legs or arms caused "gangliness" or something and thus used a shorter figure. Who knows.

Dooku or Lando, with their outfits, may look less gangly on a taller body.

There's an easy kitbash for Gimli to lessen that number. Pix can PM you the link or a quick search in the LOTR forum should turn it up.

Doubt it. We've got three figures on the pro and they're all the same height. And FYI, Indy doesn't have "tight clothes," but quite the contrary.

I've actually been tracking you guys for ages in the LOTR's forum! I was lurking for quite a while before i started posting! I'm a huge fan of all of your work on the customs, and would love some links to anything you have!

I figured I'd wait a little bit until everyone had all the kinks wired out, and i could just follow the easiest steps to make a custom gimli in the end. I'm not exactly experienced with that level of custom work. I just tend to tinker!
