I hope it's never legalized. It doesn't really matter to me, I don't smoke it. Yeah, it would help the economy if they put taxes on it and it is kind of stupid that alcohol is legal while this isn't. However, there's one reason I don't want to see it happen.

It's ____ing hilarious to see potheads come out of the wood work and start standing up and defending it when these kind of topics pop up. The ONLY time most of them start getting serious, wordy and political. They start throwing out all these arguments and essays in defense of marijuana like it's their relative or something.

I'm actually quite surprised you aren't religious with the way you act. The only time any of us are intelligent is to defend marijauna? You sir, did not goto college. The majority of kids have gotten high at some point, your the minority here. I would venture in fact that you get in debates every single day with someone who's high and just don't even realise it.

But again you've already handed out judgements for all us non believers so what does it matter. You'll be alone in heaven with a few other virgins and will never have to worry about seeing any of us. BTW something that when I'm high, still sounds pretty stupid and without basis.

I am not saying that it stops people but however the way the Prop was written left a HUGE legal loop hole and could get away with it much easier as long as they aren't smoking while driving.

Really? I know that a cop is fully capable of determining whether a driver is under the influence of marijuana. If an accident occurred, and the driver at fault was under the influence, I'm pretty sure most DUI laws already cover it.

If this Prop gave immunity to such drivers, then I concur. What I don't understand is why is it so difficult to simply repeal the prohibition of illicit narcotics wholesale, with minor addendums to the effect that 1) one may not collect disability because they did too many drugs, 2) one will not be eligible for taxpayer financed rehabilitation, and 3) abuse of the drug, per operation of motor vehicles, etc. will be treated the same as alcohol.

This situation is really too dangerous at this point for people to keep ____ing around the way they are. There's no excuse.

Well most of the pot smokers I know are college kids, so that may occur but of course college kids don't have a ton of money to change the world themselves.

That said, I've smoked with doctors, lawyers, and pilots, ranging from my friends dad to fresh outta school kids, all who are giving back to the community so yea.

Oh, and while I personally do smoke, I have cancer and no health insurance. But I have never ever collected unemployment or welfare or any other handout. I am not a deadbeat, I make my own way.
