I've watched it again for the umpteenth time and it seems, the moments building up to his reveal are going to be very intense.

At least I hope it's that way.

It will be very difficult to take any previous Godzilla design serious after this movie.

Really? I wish it looked closer to the Godzillas I grew up with. This one reminds me more of the Matthew Broderick film design; he looks more iguana than Godzilla to me. The trailer looks great but as far as his design I wished they kept his back fins more like the classic version and the head looks too small.

In all seriousness, think about how the dynamcs will shift if this movie fires on all cylinders and its embraced as the go to Godzilla movie.

Up to this point its always been a sad "what if" scenario, what if man in suit could just be given the proper treatment.

Now we will look back at all the other Godzilla movies with a feeling of accomplishment and success, which will make us replace that negative "what if" to just relaxing and enjoying them for what they are, because we know that we have the new one.

Then again "what if" will probably still exist for Ghidorah and Hedorah.
