Can't argue with you about Pacific Rim.... However I did enjoy it better when I gave it a second chance.... Still has an awful final battle... Very boring.

I honestly watched Pacific Rim just to get my daikaiju fix.
I found it silly seeing these technically advanced, weapons-equipped, giant robots resort to punching and kicking.

Surprised they didn't have a scene like ^^ with the Godzilla babies in the last movie.

I'm much more excited to see this film than the train wreck of the last one. Everything I've seen so far looks like they are definitely doing it right.

While his design is obviously important, I'm more concerned with what hasn't been shown.

He better be damn near unbeatable, first missles that knock him down i'm walking out.

Really terrific to read these reviews from IGN, Totalfilm and Bleeding Cool and all of them lead back to the same two things--the film is character driven with strong acting and Godzilla looks absolutely badass! This is more than I could have hoped for. Come May 16, let's pray they stick the landing.
