Tried to introduce Godzilla to my 8-11 yr old nephews last night, they couldn't sit thru any of them.

All they kept saying was "looks fake and its boring" didn't matter which era.

I was hoping maybe the 11 yr old would've been more accepting, but nope.

I honestly watched Pacific Rim just to get my daikaiju fix.
I found it silly seeing these technically advanced, weapons-equipped, giant robots resort to punching and kicking.

It's funny, but when you break it down, you would think all the money and tech put into jaegers could be used to invent a canon or something to kill them more efficiently

I thought that the first time I watched the film... Not so much the Cannons and stuff... But why not have a sword... Of course then Gypsy Danger pulled one out and then I thought... Why would you not have that ready all the time???
