I'm sure Godzilla will be great, but you can't really say it's got better acting and stuff like that until you see the movie.

I honestly havent had the urge to watch pacific rim more than once. When it's slow its excruciating. Hope Godzilla is twice as good as PR or I'll be disappointed.

I've seen Pacific Rim 13 times now, never gets old, I love everything about it, saw it 6 times in Imax and I'm sure godzilla will be the same, I don't see how Godzilla won't deliver on the same scale as Pacific Rim and then some. But I see how Pacific Rim isn't everyone's thing, I've been dying for a film like PR ever since I saw evangelion, getter robo, giant robo and I've been dying for a godzilla film like this ever since I used to watch monster vision on TNT on friday nights.

I've seen Pacific Rim 13 times now, never gets old, I love everything about it, saw it 6 times in Imax, even bought a 3d tv so I could watch it in 3d at home, no other way I'd rather watch it and I'm sure godzilla will be the same, I don't see how Godzilla won't deliver on the same scale as Pacific Rim and then some. But I see how Pacific Rim isn't everyone's thing, I've been dying for a film like PR ever since I saw evangelion, getter robo, giant robo and I've been dying for a godzilla film like this ever since I used to watch monster vision on TNT on friday nights.

I loved PR the first time but then novelty wire off for me. I wanted to like it more. I just found the sequences between the fights painful. Cant stand the scientists. The actors seemed totally bored their vibe kills me. I love the two main big battles but the ending fight was weak imo.

I watch Pacific Rim every time it's on tv. I loved it. Sure it didn't have Cranston or great acting. But it was really entertaining. I like it more each time I see it.

those are points I can't argue with, I liked the human stuff but mainly because for what ever reason I liked Mako, and Idris was great. That is one thing Godzilla has right out of the gate that PR didn't, it was award winning actors attached to the film.

Which considering Godzilla is only ever actually in like a third of the total run time it helps out a lot.
