G vs Destoroyah or Biollante, which is better?

Both are great films, IMo. But I like Destroyah a little more. Lots more action in that one and an emotional ending too. Heck, I still get choked up while watching it.

Cranston: great to over acting great

Watanabe: great

Olsen: good but nothing to do

ATJ: might as well been Riddick

Tonal shift seems to be the main complaint, not so much a problem with the actual cast.

I'm guessing there must be a thematic switch from Cranston to ATJ that doesn't play so well.

Watanabe probably remains as the constant and Olsen does dishes and laundry I think.

Even the good reviews talk about how they got Godzilla right but the humans kind of suck.
and those are the people that are praising Godzilla.....

I like aaron taylor johnson a lot and I Love elizabeth olsen but if they ruin this movie I am going to be so freaking pissed....

Dude its like transformers. Who the hell cares about the human characters. The movie is called godzilla not godzilla and friends. As long as godzilla is on screen recking havoc and its as epic as these reviews are saying then im happy. Have you ever seen Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla where this asain chick is literally singing to a mountain for about 30 minutes straight? If we had something like that then we have room for worry lmao. Its just your typical human fodder without Shai labauf and his annoying life.

O I see. Well i guess I was comparing to the forgettable characters of the older Godzilla movies. Well from that clip I saw Cranston gives a good delivery and I knew that the dude who played kick ass wasnt really gonna be all that memorable to be honest. Well atleast its not 98 and im glad about that. People are already saying its the next big franchise which im hoping it is. I hope audiences will be patient when Godzilla arrives.

well then the movie SHOULD be called Godzilla and friends. Seeing how we are going to spend an hour or more with his friends instead of Godzilla.

And sure, Godzilla will be great, at the end, so we are going to what? have to wait an hour playing angry birds in the theater until Godzilla shows up?

I guess I will have to make a mental note not to forget my phone when going to see this and check my facebook while I wait for Godzilla to show up.

And the argument about the annoying singing lady in Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla, there's a reason that was the 2nd to last film before Godzilla's retirement, they were losing some quality in the movies compared to earlier. Go back to Gojira, Godzilla vs. Mothra, the two show Ghidorah films, those were enjoyable even when it was the human story.
