Thanks, Seaward. Movie accurate was what I was definitely going for. I used a small, but very sharp, scissors to poke the holes. If I needed the hole bigger I just pushed it further through the cloak. I made the holes while it was still being "worn" by Legolas for the best placement. The closer towards the body the better.

Very cool tip, I will have to do this since I'm finally getting around to displaying him.

Leggie just arrived and he certainly does look very good!
I haven't unpacked him yet (still at the office), but he looks like a winner.

I can't get over how great Legolas and Aragorn are together. They really are amazing to behold, and the detail is just superb. I'm just dying to see Boromir and Faramir later on, and boy, if we don't get something new at toyfair, man, it's gonna kill me!

I just hope it's not like Faramir, where we knew for almost two months who it would be, yet didn't get the PPO until DECEMBER.

It's almost like Sideshow wanted to torture me...........

The Wait List WORKS!!!!!!!! i signed for the Ex. like late last week...lo and behold, it was converted!!!!
will post pics of it soon!along with my repainted aragorn!
karma, baby!!!! i sadly had to cancel my inclusive jabba and the throne cos i didnt think i could afford it along with shipping, it would cost close to bout 500 bucks (currency converted)
what goes around, comes around...i got the exclusive leggy!haahha!
and i managed to snag jabba and his throne locally

So Legolas is out of the box and with all his gear on, and he is one impressive figure!
Makes poor Aragorn look pretty forlorn...
SST's learning curve was much faster with the LOTR line. On the SW side we had to wait till Obi Wan to get a really great figure, and it wasn't until Maul that we almost reached perfection. In the LOTR line I belive that Legolas is quite close to perfection.
Sure, the HS is a bit off, but the all-important attitude is there! No silly ma-I-lost-my-pants expression here, but grim determination. So what if Luke was introspective most of the time in ROTJ, who cares if Aragorn was plagued with doubt throughout the LOTR saga, I want them to be able to hold a sword like they mean it!
The costume is great, the accesories are very nice and the overall look is brilliant! This is a must have figure.
I do wish SST would use sturdier materials for some items (metal instead of ruber on the clasps for the belts), but I guess that is a company economical/philosophical thing that won't change.
Anyway, get Legolas, he's well worth it.

congrats on your conversion. you do know Simply Toys is the distributor right, you can always get non exclusives from them which is cheaper than buying and shipping direct from sideshow. unless you just want to chalk up reward points
