LOL, that's the overstatement of the year! I'm happy to oblige... It didn't occur to me to pose them together until you mentioned it, it had to be done.


The great and powerful Oluf sculpted Faramir and Boromir if I'm not mistaken. Oooops! I mean "The Sideshow Collectibles Figure Design and Development Team".

Thanks Andy, I love Olaf's work. I'm glad he made Faramir. And yeah, I'm surprised nobody did that pose earlier, it's so perfect! You're so cool to do that Andy. It means a lot to acutally have contact with my favorite sculpter.

As for YOUR image, Fritz, I'm going to go wash out my eyes, you fiend! Is nothing sacred!?!

congrats on your conversion. you do know Simply Toys is the distributor right, you can always get non exclusives from them which is cheaper than buying and shipping direct from sideshow. unless you just want to chalk up reward points

i tend to get my non exclusives from em,but since i've been able to stay up late to order em exclusives, i think its a whole lot more worth it getting direct fom SSC. i've seen ppl at china square and far east plaza sell exclusives, but being them, you'd know they'd chalk up the price to a couple hundreds. ticks me off.sickening.

So I have to share this success story with you all. After seeing all these awesome pics of legolas I put myself on the exclusive wait list back on 1/28. AND IT GOT CONVERETED YESTERDAY!!!!!!!!! I thought my chances were absolutely zero but the wait list works!! I can't wait to get this figure and he comes home tuesday!

He is also the one who did Faramir I would guess, if you go to Faramir's page, it lists the team behind him and Oluf is in there and I assume that means he was the sculptor.

Yeah, Andy told us it was Faramir after I asked him (isn't that nice of him?). I'm glad, Olaf is a fantastic sculpter, and certainly worthy of taking on Faramir's sculpt. I can't wait to get him!

haven't had time to look close but I'm still glad I dropped this line...

Not that the sculpt is bad or anything, I just don't like it...

So this will be my second and last 12" figure!
