I thought that Gandalf would be my only LOTR LSB. But this looks to be really well done! The bad guys don't interest me, but if they keep this up, I might just start to build a nice collection of hero LSBs.

This line seems to be turning into the real momentum builder of the LOTR license.

I am so glad they have arrived at a more consistent, slightly smaller and more affordable scale on these busts. Keep 'em coming, Sideshow!

Looks very good tho, from what we can see so far. It appears to me as if his arm is reaching behind his head to grab an arrow. That would be a cool pose. The bottom half of his face looks spot on, but the top half is what I'll be waiting for to make a "final judgement".

However, like Josh, I SHALL pass, because I don't have enough with the character of Legolas to buy a big bust (no room, rather spend my money on the Eagle Vs. Fellbeast dio, that's one dio!).

Love the look of this bust, love the LSB line so far and not sure where the money or space is gonna come from for these guys but this is turning into an amazing year for LOTR SS Collectibles!!

I'd put the Dio's ahead of this line for sure. I'm also quite happy with the other two lines. IMO All the LOTR lines are running nicely as far as the product being good looking in our hands.

Sideshow is pumping out LSB's like crazy!!!

It's honestly frustrating as a collector of PF's. It seems the other lines are getting secondary treatment. These must be extremely easy to design and produce for SS to be pumping out so many of these in both this line and Marvel.

I will admit that the sculpt looks great from that pic, but I'm kinda disappointed at any humans done in this format.

Well we'll know when we finally see the full head shot of Legolas if they got it right, I have to say I think the Gandalf LSB is very very good and so far from that partial shot Legolas is looking good.

Count me in on that thought choopie. I do not want yet another version of a character I have in spades already. A Uruk would be great in this format as would one of the Mordor orcs.

I love the "baddies" [over 90% of my collection is bad guys] so you'll never hear me complain about orcs, uruk hai, or whatever other bad guy's SS has in store for us in the future. But quite honestly, most SS/Weta human-like bust representations sucked IMO, which is why I don't own any. If SS is going to give us LSB's that actually look like the people they are supposed to represent then I am all for it. I'll reserve final judgement on this piece until I see the entire thing, but from what I've seen so far it looks like it will totally blow away the Weta bust version of Legolas.

I'm still getting this and it certainly looks great but I share choopie, gideon and Loki's thoughts. I was really hoping the PF Legolas was going to be the Helm's Deep version so I hope that by making this bust with Helm's Deep armor doesn't affect that decision when it comes time for a Legolas PF.

They seem to have hit their stride with this line, and Legolas looks like another fine example from what I can see so far, but the LSBs have been coming just a little too fast and furious lately. Especially with all the dios and PFs they've released recently. Only thing I can do is pick and choose the ones I just gotta have...

The new Eagle vs Fell Beast dio is a must have, and I'm already committed to the Ringwraith LSB on FlexPay, so it looks like I'll be passing on Lego as well.
