Well, I'd love to see more announced a bit quicker like they had said. However, I'd really prefer them to stick to one a quarter as far as them arriving.
I'd still prefer the 5-6 per year number SS alluded to in July. Esp. since most collectors these days don't seem to be completeists and most will be picking and choosing only the ones they really want anyway.
Yeah Josh, I'm with you, one a quarter sounds good to me. Hoping to keep my PF collection going in conjunction with the maquette line...well I did say hoping!I suppose it all depends on what else you collect. At these prices for me 1 per quarter is best and thats with me only getting a certain few.
That makes you, me and the rest of the members I should think furystorm...you would think SS would want to keep us interested. Really need a lot more news on both product development and future plans IMHO.Oh January, why do you have to be so far away? I'm not in the habit of wishing days or weeks away, but I'm so ready for the Legolas announcement. But, I would like to hear what SS has to say about the future plans for this line before committing to a NRD.

I'm hooked! Thanks for the update. And also, wow! Hooked!
The Legolas has a much more dynamic pose than I would have thought given some of the other preview pictures we've seen. This sort of action-pose next to Gandalf helps make the Gandalf work a little better for me, as the whole line seems poised to leap off the shelf. Not too outrageous in designs, but avoiding the rigid standing figures that some other manufacturers tend towards. Bowen Designs make some amazing statues, but the poses are very similar for a lot of their characters. I think this approach makes for a much more interesting display. Can't wait to see how hobbits will be handled in this line!
It's a personal thing, but i prefer the 'standing' figures, that just concentrate on the character and the costuming/armour. Having an entire collection of action-posed statues can look too cheesy.
