Best Leggo likeness ever, i agree. The SSW steed version is also very good, but this is just the t**s. All we have to do now is pray it looks just as good in person as it does in the photos. But then, Sideshow is renowned for taking crappy pics of something that looks better in person, right?

That's a bit of an understatement. SS's ability to consistantly take photo's that do not do justice to the in hand product never ceases to amaze me. On a positive note, that pretty well guarantee's no one will be disappointed with the end product.

Congrats on the conversion Matt, Legolas looks a really nice piece.

The maquette line has the makings of a fantastic set of collectibles.

And we are all in at the start, which makes it even better.

What do you think - do i have a chance of snagging one of these from the waitlist till August?

I mean its just shortly after Comic Con and a lot of things are coming out or go on preorder.

With this being the last one without a NRD I am hopeful I will get a Leggie.

Due to my Aragorn Excl. having had some damages I have received a refund to use on a Sideshow order including preorders.

Does anone of you know if that can be applied to my already existing preorder of the Gimli Excl. or my hopefully impending waitlist conversion of the Legolas Excl.?

Or do I have to do an entirely new Preorder in order to get the refund?

Any experiences?

I just heard back from SS.

They are sending me two new heads for Aragorn.

They also applied my refund to my already existing order of Gimli.

In my account it still gives me a total of $249,99 with no sign of any discount.

Will this be updated later on?

Sideshow really goes all out in their customer support - that's the rason I'm willing to cash out another $80 in custom fees by buying directly from them - apart from those lovely exclusives of course.

Well, I really had to dig and dig to find this thread. Been a long while since there was any chatter about Legolas, but as I've just reverted to my fellowship signature...

Now shipping in September, and he's next up. Having three in hand will make this line feel like a true collection is beginning.

My second LOTR statue arrives this week and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my Legolas WL will convert, especially now that people have seen the craziness coming out of SDCC.

I think you'll be OK. SS messed up on Legolas in that they were supposed to charge a NRD, but for some reason didn't. The odds of having your WL convert are certainly much higher without anyone having to pay a penalty for cancelling.
